Vietnam expected to receive Brahmos missile

Vietnam expected to receive Brahmos missile

Vietnam Peoples Navy is the first foreign customer who expected to receive the world's lethal anti shipping cruise missile Brahmos. Sources confirmed that, the contract would be finalized before the end of this year.  Both Russia and India agrees to export the Missile to Vietnam who is a friendly nation to both Nations.

The same source also said that, Air launched version of Brahmos A already completed the ground trails. the airborne carriage trails commenced soon by following the final test launch scheduled by end of this year. The Brahmos A program almost delayed by more than a year, where DRDO and HAL said test launch may occur in end of 2015.

Vietnam is the most pro Russian country who relies on Soviet and Russia for it's military needs, who also threatened by the Chinese with the disputed Island issue. Vietnam requesting the Brahmos missiles for it's front line naval ships, who currently using older Styx missile, Vietnam operates more than six Molniya class missile corvette's. Similar like Indian Navy's veer class missile corvette. Vietnam plans to replace those Styx missiles with Brahmos missile.

Sources said, Vietnam requesting the Brahmos since years, when the official talks started in early 2013, Later the talks actively progressed by both Indian and Russian officials. Since 51% of the missiles stakes under Indian custody, India needs to take the final decision. However India also willingly to share the Brahmos to Vietnam, after Vietnam given few of the oil fields to Indian state firm ONGC.

China protested the Vietnamese move of giving oil fields to India, saying "transferring rights in the disputed Island to foreign country make bigger problems". Refusing the Chinese threat, ONGC get the contract from Vietnam to explore the oil deposits. who already stated working on the fields.

India revamped it's relationship with Vietnam later 2000 only, However which creates stronger basement to counter Chinese threat. The relationship went another level in later years, as once the Indian foreign minister openly said that " Vietnam is one of the Pillar of India's act east Policy ".

The current government keen to expand the relationship into higher level  and hosted the Vietnamese Prime minister in India early 2014. During the meet Indian PM offered the Brahmos missile to Vietnam, also expressed deeper maritime relationship with Vietnamese Navy. In this field both navy's conduct regular port visits, Joint patrols and Naval exercise.

Indian Govt also allowed the navy to provide assistance and training to Vietnam navy to work with newly acquired Kilo class submarine from Russia. Also given $100 million credit line to buy new warships from India. India is in final talks to supply four large patrol vessel to Vietnamese navy. as Indian PM promised in earlier 2014.

Vietnam operates six modern kilo class submarines and few Russian frigates and missile corvette's. all those are modernized with newer Klub missiles. Vietnam also operates K 300 P Bastion coastal missile battery, The missile used in the K300 is the Oniks missile, predecessor of Brahmos missile.

Russia China deepen maritime ties

Russia China deepen maritime ties

Russia and China deepens their maritime relationship into new level to counter the US and Pacific navy's threats in South China sea, Barents sea and in the Atlantic Ocean. This include assisting the shipbuilding, conducting joint patrols and regular military exercise. The Russian and Chinese both needed to be cooperate to defeat the US and allied navy's to expand the Communist aim of Naval superiority in their respected region.

At first step, Russia will assist the Chinese navy to build much powerful warships and submarines, also assist the Chinese to upgrade the existing warships with advanced weapon systems and sensor systems. Most of the Chinese warships are designed with the support of ex soviet designers who were reallocated into China rather than Ukraine during the collapse of Soviet.

Russia is the first nation who supported the Chinese illegal occupation of Taiwanese and Japanese Islands and it's announcement of air defense identical zones. Both of them also armed North Korea to keep the Pacific nations always under threat, recent footage of 300mm Rocket launchers and S 300 variants displayed in DPRK is achieved with the Russian and Chinese help.

The Russian assistance also gives the Chinese navy to get a lethal fire power, Recent deployment of long range supersonic cruise missile in the Chinese frigates and destroyers is the example. The YJ 18 is considered as long range supersonic anti shipping cruise missiles, deployed in the new generation Type 52 D Destroyer, also currently being fitted out in some older generation Type 52 and Chinese frigates.

The Type 52 D can carry combination of 64 long range cruise missiles and naval S 300 missiles which include YJ 18 cruise missile. With the assistance from Russia, China successfully modified the YJ 12 air launched anti ship cruise missiles in the Su 27 and Su 30 MKK platforms. The YJ 12 is an long range supersonic cruise missile with ranging upto 540 kilometers.

The Chinese and Russians also planning much bigger level of maritime exercises, Earlier years China and Russia conducted larger ever maritime exercise off the Japanese coast, deterring the Japanese who is the common enemy of both China and Russia, The Exercise validated with the presence of more than twenty three Chinese surface warships and two nuclear submarines along with airborne units and marines, the exact Russian ships numbers are not published.

Both Russia and China planning for such massive maritime exercises to express solditarity with each others. Those exercises validated Chinese air defense systems are performed far better than the Russian counterpart, where Russian ASW tactics lead in the drills. later days same such large scale of exercise conducted near Black sea, during when Russian forces invaded Ukraine in earlier 2014.

Sources also suggested that both Russians and Chinese working together to develop a common operating picture to work together. In the medium of ASW and A2D theater. This further deepens the military relationship. who get  information from each other in real time, Similar like the NATO's Link 16 communication interface.

On the far other side, Russia deployed coastal missile batteries, marine garrisons, and military early warning networks close to Japanese shores, Those deployed forces are placed in a disputed Island which is claimed by both Russia and Japan. The Russian deployment started once Japanese conducted routine patrol in Senaku Islands, which is another disputed Island located near China. which is claimed by both China and Japan.

So far, the Chinese Russian maritime alliance didn't threaten the Indian Navy so far, The day it will be broke, if Russian and Chinese navy conducts drills in Indian Ocean region or sails over Bay of Bengal en route to Chinese occupied coco Islands.

South China sea theater, This time Japan confronts China

South China sea theater, This time Japan confronts China

A Maritime Self-Defense Force flotilla of three ships arrived in the Philippines early Sunday on a goodwill visit — the first to include a Japanese submarine in 15 years — amid China’s growing assertiveness in the region.

The training submarine Oyashio, accompanied by the destroyers Ariake and Setogiri, made a port call at Subic Bay, home of a former U.S. naval base, ahead of planned open sea drills. Some 500 Japanese personnel, including 55 officer candidates, are taking part in the confidence-building exercise.

Philippine Navy public affairs officer Capt. Lued Lincuna said the three MSDF vessels would be staying in Subic Bay until Wednesday.

The two destroyers are then scheduled to continue on to Vietnam’s Cam Ranh Bay for a similar visit. The trip to Cam Ranh Bay will take the two vessels through the South China Sea, where the Philippines, Vietnam and three other nations are involved in simmering territorial disputes with China.

The visit to the Philippines comes ahead of a much-anticipated arbitration case concerning the legality of China’s “nine-dash line” claim over the South China Sea. Manila expects the court to hand down a ruling before May.

But despite the growing ties between Tokyo and Manila, Lincuna said the visit was “not directed at any other countries.”

“It has nothing to do with China,” Lincuna said.

Beijing lays claim to most of the South China Sea, through which $5 trillion in global trade passes each year. It has recently constructed artificial islands in the waters — some home to military-grade airfields, radar systems and weapons — riling neighboring claimants.

For its part, the United States has conducted what it calls “freedom of navigation” exercises in recent months, sailing ships near disputed islands to underscore the right to freely navigate the seas. Reuters cited an unidentified U.S. official Saturday as saying that a third such exercise was set for early this month.

While not a claimant in the South China Sea, Tokyo has been embroiled in a fight with Beijing over the Japanese-administered Senkaku Islands, which China calls Diaoyu, in the East China Sea.

The Japanese decision to send the three vessels to the Philippines, one of the most vocal critics of China’s massive land-reclamation projects in the region, has drawn fire from Beijing. Top Chinese officials have slammed Japan’s push to shore up smaller regional claimants to the waters, with Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei saying last month that Beijing was keeping a watchful eye on Tokyo’s moves in the area.

“Japan once illegally occupied China’s islands in the South China Sea during WWII,” Hong said. “We are on high alert against Japan’s attempt to return to the South China Sea through military means.”

The visit to Vietnam is also likely to spur an angry reaction from China.

The arrival of the Japanese vessels coincides with the Balikatan joint exercises between the U.S. and Philippine militaries, which are set to kick off Monday. MSDF personnel will also be in attendance as observers.

Amy Searight, U.S. deputy assistant secretary of defense for South and Southeast Asia, said last week that Japan is in talks with the Philippines about participating in the joint drills on a regular basis.

“Japan is talking to the Philippines about a status of forces agreement, so that Japan can regularly participate in those kinds of exercises,” Searight told a think tank event in Washington, according to Kyodo News.

The envisioned agreement would govern the operations of the Self-Defense Forces in the Philippines.

“Japan is participating (in the Balikatan drill) as an observer. Japan very much wants to participate more,” she said.

Tokyo has ramped up its cooperation with both Manila and Hanoi, leasing patrol aircraft to the Philippines and building stronger defense ties with Vietnam.

Defense Minister Gen Nakatani plans to visit Manila on April 23 and 24 for talks on further deepening security ties, including the possible expansion of joint exercises between the MSDF and the Philippine Navy, reports have said. In late February, Tokyo and Manila signed a defense equipment transfer agreement. This made the Philippines the first Southeast Asian country to have such an agreement with Japan. The agreement promotes the joint production and development of defense equipment and technology, and establishes a legal framework to do so.

According to media reports, the first transfer under the new agreement may be at least five retired MSDF TC-90 aircraft the Japanese government plans to lease to the Philippine Navy. The aircraft could be used for visual monitoring over the Spratly Islands. Discussions on such a lease may take place during Nakatani’s visit slated for later this month.

US plans third patrol near disputed South China Sea islands

US plans third patrol near disputed South China Sea islands

The U.S. Navy plans to conduct another passage near disputed islands in the South China Sea in early April, a source familiar with the plan said on Friday, the third in a series of challenges that have drawn sharps rebukes from China.

Other U.S. officials, speaking after Reuters reported the plan, disputed that such an exercise was imminent. But they made clear Washington will continue to challenge what it considers Beijing's unfounded maritime claims.

The United States has conducted what it calls "freedom of navigation" exercises in recent months, sailing near disputed islands to underscore its right to navigate the seas. U.S. Navy officials have said they plan to conduct more and increasingly complex exercises in the future.

"Our long-standing position is unchanged - we do not take a position on competing sovereignty claims to naturally formed land features in the South China Sea," a senior Obama administration official said on Saturday.

"We routinely conduct such operations throughout the world to challenge maritime claims that would unlawfully restrict rights and freedoms provided in international law. This applies to the South China Sea as well," said the official, speaking on condition of anonymity.

The USS Stennis carrier strike group is currently operating in the South China Sea. The next freedom of navigation exercise is unlikely to be conducted by a carrier like the Stennis, but rather by a smaller ship, the source said.

Experts predict the next U.S. challenge to the various claims in the South China Sea could occur near Mischief Reef, a feature claimed by the Philippines and which was submerged at high tide before China began a dredging project to turn it into an island in 2014.

Mischief Reef is now the site of one of three military-length airfields China has built on man-made islands in the Spratly Islands archipelago.

U.S. Navy ships regularly patrol the South China Sea, through which more than $5 trillion of world trade travels every year. China claims most of the area, and Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei, the Philippines and Taiwan have rival claims.

In recent months, with tensions rising around China's reclamation activities, U.S. ships have been frequently and routinely shadowed by Chinese ships and regular communications with Chinese vessels have often been tense.

News of the planned exercise came a day after U.S. President Barack Obama met with Chinese President Xi Jinping at a nuclear summit in Washington.

During the meetings, Xi told Obama that China would not accept any behavior in the disguise of freedom of navigation that violates its sovereignty, in a clear warning to the United States.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei told Reuters on Saturday that China opposed any such exercise.

"China consistently respects and supports the freedom of navigation and fly over that all countries' enjoy in the South China Sea under international law, but resolutely opposes any country using so-called 'freedom of navigation' as an excuse to damage China's sovereignty, security and maritime rights," Hong said.

Chocking China, Philippines gives five air bases to US

Choking China, Philippines gives five air bases to the US

In a move to bolster the regional security, Philippines gives up five major airbases adjacent to China to the American's to counter the Chinese provocation in South China sea and nearby atolls Islands. On the other side Japan also close to commission it's forward outpost and surveillance radar site in the Snake Island.

Once the American troops withdrew from the Philippines in early 1992, China starts acting as a regional superpower by claiming foreign Islands and Atolls. The Chinese invaded the Philippines island in the south china sea in 1994 and captured the Mischief Islands from the Philippines.

Earlier many times severe clashes broke out between Philippines and Vietnam Navy's against Chinese naval ships, who illegally prowling their waters and attacking their fisherman illegally.

The Philippines is very less equipped military in the south Asian region. Due to their economics and the Chinese pressure to arms export nations. This resulted from Philippines huge losses in its territory. especially the loss of mischief island to the Chinese.

Under the new defense cooperation between Philippines and USA, The US can use five air bases in the Philippines, which include Antonio Bautista Air Base; Basa Air Base, Fort Magsaysay; Lumbia Air Base; and Mactan-Benito Ebuen Air Base. Those bases located close to South China sea, and within the range of Fighter jets attacking zone.

The US soon to deploy fighter jets, Bombers and maritime patrol aircraft's along with missile defense systems like THAAD and PAC 3. and also plans to deploy few combat units in those airbases. These bases can be used against China only, Earlier US flew bombers and ASW aircraft's from Anderson Military base Guam.

This makes the Chinese almost cornered by nations like South Korea, Japan, Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam, and India. Vietnam is the only nation on the list who importing arms from Russia, Major weapon systems like Kilo class submarines, Bastion coastal missile defense systems are already operational which was supplied by Russia.

India also beefing up its fortifications close to the Chinese border. Those NATO standard landing strips can support NATO planes like C 130 J and C 295. India also close to ink CISMOA, LSA, and BECA with the US, which allows the US to use Indian bases in case of emergency and during in warfare's.

The US already signed similar agreements with South Korea and Japan to enhance the military stability in the South Asian theater to counter the Chinese over power in the Asian region. Taiwan is the most threat prone nation in the region. who are just a few miles away from the Chinese mainland.

China always maintains harsh relationship to his neighbor nations.the nation who illegally captured Hong Kong and Tibet, who also claims Atolls and Islands in the south China sea. on the other side, China troubles the Indian borders in Arunachal and Kashmir. This resulted almost all anti-Chinese nations joined together to fight against the Chinese aggression.

It's almost clear that earlier China showed himself as a super power and it can't beat anyone. However now the time Changes, A coordinated strikes with the USA can send China back to stone age.

China,Yes to Andaman, No to south china sea

China,Yes to Andaman, No to south china sea

China warns Indian Navy's plan of conducting joint patrols with US Navy in disputed south china sea. China said that, US-Indian joint patrol divides Asia into two. At the same time Indian Navy found a Chinese navy submarine tender ship prowling along the nicober Island, Possibility of supporting two or more Chinese Submarines near the region.

While China issue warning to India, do not come to South China sea, they repeatedly violating the Andaman Island chains, by sending naval frigates and nuclear submarines. last week Indian navy's coastal surveillance radar picked up a unknown military vessel, The ANC later found the vessel is the PLAN Submarine tender ship.

Submarine tender ships are assigned with submarines to conduct mission off from the friendly bases. The ship comes inside the Andaman command's area of responsible zone, Navy suggests the Submarine tender might accompanied by two or more Chinese submarines.

When talking to the press, Andaman nicober commander said, Navy keep an eye on the vessel and tracking it's course. This is not the first time Chinese ships sailing and coming close to the Andaman waters.

Admiral also said about the modernization program of the Andaman Island's. The modernization works already begun, once it finished Indian Navy will send ships to confront the Chinese vessel who infiltrate Indian waters. He also said about the recently deployed P 8I working better to identify the threats.

Recently the Indian defense minister spend days in US Pacific Command, sailed in the US super carrier along with US defense secretary Ashton Carter, This irked the Chinese, while India planning to expand the cooperation between the two Navy's. Parrikar also issued statements regarding South China sea jointly with US counterparts.

Later, Reports revealed that, India and US in talks to conduct a joint naval patrol close to the Chinese artificial Island, more than that both planning to conduct patrols within the territorial waters of the disputed Island. US is the only nation who conducted patrol within the territorial waters, China responded by sending fighter jets and naval frigates to confront the US move, However US didn't changed it's course.

Other Asian nations like Vietnam, Philippines and Malaysia too conducted patrols outside the territorial waters which means sailed outside the 12nm of those artificial island. India too send a naval frigate in South China sea to show off against the Chinese illegal claims.

Indian Navy last year openly suggests Asian nations and India must conduct freedom of navigation flight over the artificial island. US only heard the Indian Navy's option, few months later they flew P8 and B 52 bombers over the artificial island.

China capturing international waters by making artificial island's in the sea, later fortifies into a military fortress, thus allow china to control every flying and sailing ships close to the region. No one tries to stop China due to his military power override in South China sea.

This is the true face of Chinese, They continuously warning India about the South China sea, while repeatedly violating Indian waters in Andaman, and Indian Navy not have proper asserts to confront the Chinese Navy.

Wake up call, Chinese FOB in Woody Island

Wake up call, Chinese FOB in Woody Island

The Chinese fortified his stand in south china sea with powerful air defense missiles and long range surveillance radars. making the artificial island into a pure forward operating base against south Asian nations and USA. This fortification allows the Chinese to fight against his rival enemy USA and pacific nations off from Chinese mainland.

Recently pictures captured by western satellites confirmed deployment of S 300 clone HQ 9 in woody Island, this artificial island act as a military forward operating base and the fiery cross reef artificial island act as a air base which can operate heavy weight military cargo planes and fighter jets, China demonstrated such capability last year.

As predicted earlier, China starts fortifying the island with modern air defense systems. the HQ 9 can engage targets upto some 200 kilometers, who also tracks 100 targets simultaneously and guide four missiles. So it's hard to conduct a free flight over the Island. Earlier US air force flown a pair of B 52 bombers over the island to show the free flight of international air space.

US Navy also repeatedly send it's missile destroyers within the territorial waters of artificial island, China reacted by sending fighter jets and a naval frigates to confront. However US didn't deviated his sail path and continued his sail close to the artificial island.

India and other pacific nations also dispatched their naval ships to patrol the south china sea, however they never tried to enter the territorial water of artificial island, due to the harsh Chinese warning of provocation.

Last month, India and USA agrees to conduct a joint patrol in south china sea to show off force against China. However the plans are not drafted, and still on consideration. which is also be a part of UN regulation of freedom of patrol in international seas.

As per current scenario, The Chinese Navy can destroy any incoming missiles  who targets the artificial island. Currently China deployed one regiment of HQ 9 comprising eight launch units. This also poses a serious threat to the US Navy's P 8 who routinely conducting surveillance flight over the Artificial Island.

Deployment of large number of high frequency radar's in the artificial island also gives China to track military targets from Malacca straight to entire south china sea, the zone where quarter of the world's trade shipping from east to south. Any misadventures against China would pose a serious threat to global economics too.

China slowly and steadily fortifies the islands with modern offensive and defensive system, which can allow the Chinese to face off against the US and other pacific navies. However it's clear, a coordinated attack by both USA, Japan and South Korea makes destruction of entire artificial island and stop the Chinese to advance into South China sea.

US Warship sails close to South China Sea

US Warship sails close to South China Sea

China has condemned the United States for sailing a warship in the disputed South China Sea, accusing it of "undermining" peace and stability in the region.

A US Navy destroyer sailed within 12 nautical miles of an island claimed by China and other countries in the South China Sea to counter efforts to limit freedom of navigation, the Pentagon said on Saturday.

The US action "severely violated Chinese law, sabotaged the peace, security and good order of the waters, and undermined the region' s peace and stability," said China's Defense Ministry spokesman Yang Yujun, according to Xinhua News Agency.

China claims most of the South China Sea, a strategic waterway through which more than $5 trillion of world trade is shipped every year. Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei, the Philippines and Taiwan have rival claims.

The US says it wants the crucial sea lane to be treated as international waters.

Pentagon spokesman Captain Jeff Davis said on Saturday that no ships from China's military were in the vicinity of the guided-missile destroyer USS Curtis Wilbur when it passed near Triton Island in the Paracel Islands.

"This operation challenged attempts by the three claimants - China, Taiwan and Vietnam - to restrict navigation rights and freedoms," Davis said.

Yet, China's defence ministry called the US action "intentionally provocative" and "extremely dangerous".

"The American warship has violated relevant Chinese laws by entering Chinese territorial waters without prior permission, and the Chinese side has taken relevant measures including monitoring and admonishments," China's foreign ministry said.

Davis said the operation sought to challenge policies that require prior permission or notification of transit within territorial seas.

"No claimants were notified prior to the transit, which is consistent with our normal process and international law," he said.

In October, the US Navy conducted a similar exercise in which the guided-missile destroyer Lassen sailed close to one of China's man-made islands, also drawing a rebuke from Beijing.

South China sea almost under control of China, Study warns

South China sea almost under control of China, Study warns

The recent report who revealed the Pakistani nuclear missile threat, also study's about the possible outcome from the South China sea, and the Chinese illegal construction in the artificial island, which poses serious threat to South Asian interests, The main objective of the Chinese military is to operate the artificial island as a Forward military base.

Not only the forward airbase, China also plans to build more number of aircraft carriers to stand against the pacific nations and the US Navy. China plans to construct nearly five new aircraft carrier before 2030. with new power projection and the artificial Island, China may eventually controls the entire south China sea, and explores all the natural resources close to South China sea, China may achieve this by 2030. The CSIS study reveals.

The Study also proposes the US government to expand the fleet presence in South China sea, with the cooperation of south Asian allies, US is the first nation who sails within the territorial waters of Artificial Island, South Asian nations, which include India also send it's warships as temporary deployment close to South China sea to show off against Chinese activities.

Recent satellite images shows the Island construction almost completed, China already started deploying it's military jets and other defensive missiles, China also send it's passenger aircraft in that Island, who also performed take off and Landing missions. China deploys artillery's and coastal missile batteries in the Artificial Island.

In future China may pose serious threat against the US Naval ships, which makes the situation even worsen, Since many countries include India also invested huge amount in South China sea to explore natural resources for Vietnam.

India plans set up a satellite tracking and imaging centre in southern Vietnam that will give Hanoi access to pictures from Indian earth observation satellites that cover the region, including China and the South China Sea. ISRO will fund and set up the satellite tracking and data reception centre in Ho Chi Minh City to monitor Indian satellite launches, the Indian officials said. with the expected cost at around $23 million.

The Study Points three major facts, Protecting US citizens and allies, promoting trade and economy, and promoting universal norms, As simply stopping the Chinese to intervening in international free waters.   However the need of Asian alliance against China is must need to neutralize the Chinese  activities.

Early, many Nations which include India and US plans to create a organization to act against Chinese illegal activities in South Asian waters, Which include the earlier air defense identical zone close to Taiwan air space and the Illegal claims of Japanese Senaku Diyaou Islands, However due to pressure from China and Russia forced to close the alliance against China.

Pentagon warned the Chinese, just after the report from CSIS, Saying, "China taking 'self-isolating' steps in South China Sea ". the statement also stated that, US is trying to solve the South China sea through diplomatic routes, However China pushing the US to take military action against the Chinese, who posing threat against US allies,

Carter who issued the statements and also spoke about the anti Chinese alliance, saying We don't seek to ask people to take sides. We do know that people are coming to us increasingly. Why is that? It is because China is taking some steps that I fear are self-isolating, driving towards a result that none of us wants.

Rajnath's China Visit, Border issues Discussed

Rajnath's China Visit, Border issues Discussed

Home minister Rajnath singh scheduled a five day visit to China starting from this November 19th, Key issues like border problems, Naxal insurgency and joint effort to neutralize terrorism will be  discussed. Another key issues like South China sea and relations with ASEAN also likely to be discussed. Home minister plans to meet Chinese government officials to increase the co operation between both nations when dealing with International issues like Middle East issues and South China sea issue.

Rajanth's visit will focus the border tensions along the International border starting from Ladakh to Arunachal Pradesh, The Modi led government invested in Chinese border to fortify the border with new infrastructures and additional troops. China contentiously protesting Indian advancement close to borders, which include several new out posts and Advanced Landing Grounds.

Previous UPA Regime halted building additional watch towers, deployment of additional troops and official visit to Arunachal due to heavy Chinese pressure. However the new government didn't listen Chinese protests and continuing fortifying the borders with latest equipment and additional troops.

Border Incursion's are often happen in such high altitudes, since both have no clear sights of their respective borders. The Chinese were more active on incursion and breaching Indian lines. Recent incident close to Daulat beg oldie created small hamper between two nations, when China constructed a small watch tower inside Indian boundary which will be destroyed by Indian forces later, Some sources reported that India alerted the Special forces for quick deployment in the incident zone for further Action. Later it was solved peacefully with flag meetings.

Most of the border incidents with China solved peacefully these days, with two party's flag meeting involving military and government officials to ease the tensions. China nowadays not interested in flag meets, which led further escalation in the issues. Rajnath will ask Chinese military and government officials to hold flag meeting regularly without failing.

Rajant also meet Chinese officials to discuss about Naxal and maoist insurgency and possible Chinese funding of money and arms to the insurgents. North east militant groups actively get supports from Chinese covert agents. Earlier Indian Para military forces found Chinese originated small arms and ammunition in hands of Maoists and Naxals. Which makes controversy between two nations. Just like how Pakistan help Kashmir separatists, China doing with Naxals and Maoists.

India and China will hold talks to neutralize ISIS terrorists activity in Asia, Uighur militants in China and Kashmir Militants in India would easily brainwashed by ISIS to carry out bigger attacks towards civilians. Both India and China would work jointly to thwart such plans. Both agreed to share any information regarding such terrorism planned against others.

Rajnath planning to skip the South China sea issue in his visit, India taken wise step to stand against China in the South China sea in the name of free usage of International waters. India actively working to solve the disputes in the South China sea by conducting patrol missions close to Chinese artificial Island. India also deployed a Naval ship in South China sea as a operational deployment of India's act east policy.

China also forced India to don't join the ASEAN nation's alliance, A state formation who teamed up against Chinese action in South China sea.  India will not join the ASEAN alliance however India may Stand with ASEAN nations statements and supports International freedom of Navigation mission over South China sea. Indian Navy also plans to fly FoN mission above the Chinese Artificial Islands.

ASEAN Nation vows to conduct FoN in South China Sea

ASEAN Nation vows to conduct FoN in South China Sea

Recent development in south China sea include the US Navy's destroyers sailing with in the Chinese Artificial Island's territorial waters.  China constructed a island middle of the sea and claimed the Island and the nearby sea belongs to China. The US Challenged the Chinese by flying a P 8 I over the Island. At second incident US Navy's Destroyer sails inside the 12nm territorial waters of the so called Artificial Island. Since the South asian nations are poorly equipped to counter the Chinese claim

To tackle the Chinese aggression in South China sea, South Asian small nations created a forum to jointly works to counter Chinese military activities close to their eaters. The forum named as ASEAN which involves South Asian nations Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, Laos, Burma, Indonesia, Cambodia, Singapore and Brunei. This years ASEAN summit has a main objective of disputed issue in South China sea. The ASEAN summit also calls defense minsters from the Asian countries and Regional players like US, China and India.

However the forum failed to issue a joint statement. Due to the pressure of Chinese defense minister the actual understanding of South China sea dispute was kept under secret. The Indian Defense Minister Manohar parrikar, US defense secretary Ash Carter also presented in the meeting. However the meeting is almost vanished without having common understanding between the nations.

When Talking about the South China Sea, Manohar parrikar himself says that " Freedom of navigation in international waters, the rights of using the international airspace could not be violated by someone's specific interest. He also says nations must respect united Nations convention law of freedom of navigation in International waters.

Illegal construction in international waters by China
On the other side, External affairs minister Sushma swaraj visited Philippines and met his counterpart Albert. Both of them discussed many security issues including the south china sea. In the join statement Sushma mentions Philippines rights in west Philippine sea and indirectly warned the Chinese action in South China sea. West Philippine sea is the term adopted by Philippines for the past four years. It's quite surprise when Sushma pronounce the same.

Both of the incident shows that, India's prime interests of cornering China from all available sides. Between Indian Navy also plans to field a permanent Naval units in South china sea currently navy has port visit missions using it's warships. As of now Shivalik is doing the duty in South Chinese Area. Indian Navy Also plans to conduct overflight mission above the Artificial Island built by china. Just how US flew over the air space using it's P 8I even with Chinese repeated warning.

The South China sea heats up more closely, When US send it's warship close to the Island. Chinese Navy responded by sending one destroyer and a support ship to escort the US warship during the transits. However they never exchanged any contacts, However some media quoted that China radioed the USS Lassen and said " Hope to see you soon" While US Navy confirmed no contacts during the transis. The Pacific commander stated that US Navy will conduct more such patrols in that area. Even after meeting the Chinese defense officials in Beijing after the FoN Mission.

The Chinese heavily protested the Americans act, The Def Sec Ash Carter countered the Chine by saying " The US will fly, sail and operate all over the international waters, as what US doing all over the world, The South China sea also the same, It's in International waters."

Modern Chinese Destroyer Type 052 Class
Not only the words, Defense Sec Ash Carter also wants to sail the South China sea, The Defense secretary and Malaysian Defense minister planned to onboard the US Navy carrier Theodore Roosevelt, The Carrier along with her support ships will perform a patrol mission well close within the 12nm of the Artificial Island. However this time the Ship won't sail inside the 12nm boundary line of the Artificial Island.

The Chinese military officials repeatedly warning that transiting over South china sea could spark a small conflict even a war. And said US and his partners should stop provoking the Chinese.

South China Sea, US plans to send it's Naval Ships

South China Sea, US plans to send it's Naval Ships

The US Navy plans to send it's naval ships close to the Chinese artificial island, as China says 12 nautical miles from the artificial island is belong to Chinese government. sailing inside the perimeter is considers as violation without having permission, and that could bring military actions. as many nations include India previously sends it's Naval warships very close to the artificial Islands. they never provoked the Chinese, by sailing close to the 12 nautical miles, they keep off from the Chinese identical zones.

The US is the first and only nation who send it's naval spy plane P8 Neptune and performed flying mission over the island. the Chinese repeatedly warned the American air crew. and the American air crew replied to the Chinese, "we are flying in the international airspace, so no need to obey others orders, and we are working under UN laws and regulations", the Chinese air traffic repeatedly warned the Americans. however they didn't changed it's flight path and continued their missions. later US never tried to send more flying missions over the Chinese artificial Island. and no other countries never tried to perform such missions.

Recently Indian Naval officers said that, "India must join hands with Americans and support their moves of conducting freedom of Navigation flights over the artificial island", however both the Indian and US government officials not interested further provoking the Chinese. they plans for a multi nations alliance to confront the Chinese. the Alliance still on paper.

As American always one step ahead, when dealing with such threats. they planned to send a warship very close to the Island and sail within the 12 nautical mile ring which covers the Artificial island. the plan was drafted by the US Navy officials and Pentagon. however still it not gets a official authorization by the US president. The US President says, "wait till the upcoming UN general security meet, and wait for any diplomatic option", and there is no clear words comes from the both Chinese and American officials during the meet. while China speeding up the construction of the Artificial island.

And now the Pentagon officials once again move the same plan to the white house to authorize the mission. the final decision yet to taken by the President, Navy officials from Pentagon spoke to Navy times and said "the president will authorize the plan of using Naval power inside the hot zone". that could pose a serious challenge to the Chinese Navy and it's military planners.

During the initial days of Ukraine conflict US Navy send it's Arleigh Burke class Destroyer USS Donal Cook to show the American support to the Ukraine government. and it's believed US may send the same Arleigh Burke class destroyer close to the Artificial Island. US Navy operates more than seventy such Destroyers. which is named one of the Best AEGIS Destroyer in the world, armed with hundred's of offensive and defensive missile systems.

If the South Pacific Nation alliance succeeded, The Indian's Japanese and Australians too sends it's warships close to the Island to show it's power. India recently sends it's newest stealth frigate INS Sahyadri as a four days deployment to South china sea, to work with the Vietnam Navy to support's it's patrols close to the Spratly Islands. and the Ship's deployment days may be expanded into months in coming days, that makes Indian Navy's interest in full time missions in South China sea.

Even if the US sends it's Destroyer's close to the Chinese Artificial Islands. the Chinese have no option to stop the Ship. and they do what Russian did in Ukraine when USS Donald Cook passed over the Black Sea. the Chinese may try to buzz the US destroyer using it's fighter jets. however America never bother about the Chinese actions, and they continue sail towards the mission directions, as they doing since decades.

INS Sahyadri Deployed in Vietnam as part of ‘Operational Deployment’ to the South China

INS Sahyadri Deployed in Vietnam as part of ‘Operational Deployment’ to the South China

In pursuance of India’s ‘Look East’ and ‘Act East’ policy, Indian Naval Ship Sahyadri, as a part of ‘Operational Deployment’ to the South China Sea and the North West Pacific region, has entered Da Nang, Vietnam on a four day visit commencing 02 Oct 15.

The visit of INS Sahyadri is aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and enhancing inter-operability between navies of the two countries. Indian warships had last visited Hai Phong, Vietnam in August 2014. INS Sahyadri is an indigenously built warship of the Shivalik Class. Inducted into the Indian Navy on 21 July 12. The multi-role stealth frigate, boasts of an impressive array of weaponry in her arsenal. Long range anti-ship missiles, medium and short range surface to air missiles augmented by powerful guns of different calibers provide a formidable shield against all types of surface and air threats. The capability to carry two integral multi-role helicopters significantly enhances the potency of this ship. INS Sahyadri, is presently being commanded by Captain Kunal Raj Kumar.

During her stay in harbour, various activities aimed at enhancing cooperation and interaction between the two navies are planned. These include official calls and interaction with dignitaries of the Vietnamese government and the Vietnamese Peoples’ Navy (VPN), reception onboard INS Sahyadri, onboard visits by local populace, guided tours for Indian naval personnel and professional interaction between personnel of both the navies.

India and Vietnam have cultural and economic links dating back to the 2nd Century A.D, which were facilitated by maritime trade. In modern times, support during struggle for liberation from foreign rule and subsequent political and cultural exchanges have strengthened this historic relationship. In order to expand this to the security domain, a ‘Security Dialogue’ was instituted in 2003. India and Vietnam signed a Joint Declaration on the ‘Establishment of a Strategic Partnership’ in 2007 as well as a ‘MoU on Defence Cooperation’ in 2009. These have laid the foundation for strengthening maritime cooperation between the two countries.

Show off in South China Sea, India Joins with Pacific Nations and US

Show off in South China Sea, India Joins with Pacific Nations and US

As China slowly making it's stance in south China sea, countries like Philippines and Vietnam shows it's restrain by conducting naval patrol close to Chinese artificial island in south China sea, that won't prevent the Chinese constructions, even the US tries some tricky maneuvers over the island, not only in south China sea, China already makes it's tough stance in Japanese Senkaku Diaoyu Island, and the known ADIZ zone in east China sea,and they continuing their advancement in far south China sea by claiming Spratly and Paracel Islands.

China almost gained full power in South China sea, where they can defeat any foreign Navy's or Allied forces, if those countries didn't stop the Chinese advancement, then they could loose their tiny islands for no reason, and China fields his massive army nearby their door steps, Not only in south China sea, China slowly moving into Indian Ocean and almost managed to lease a Maldivian island, the Island named Atolls, initially China says that atoll island used only for tourism and research purpose and it's clear they can mass the forces in case of any possible skirmish with India or US Navy. the US has a base in Indian Ocean named Diego Garcia, also in Bay of Bengal China has a Island which was ceased from Myanmar, named Coco Island.

So the point is, there is a need of Multi national alliance, which can stop Chinese aggressive maneuvers, The US is always poised to counter the Chinese advancement, however they didn't get enough support from nearby countries, before the Victim country tries to confront the Chinese advancement, US goes first and makes the issue as Headline, that was proven many times, flying it's advanced P8 A plane over the ADIZ, later only countries like Japanese and South Korean performed counter maneuvers,

India never tries to enter such global events, however that's no more, the new government almost takes a side in the Global events, to counter react any Chinese aggressive movements, after satellite pictures appeared of Artificial island construction, India send a flotilla of warships to conduct friendly surveillance with Philippines Navy, later they went to Vietnam and continue their patrols with Vietnamese Navy, India's major interests in the South China sea is the Natural deposits inside the Vietnam waters, where ONGC signs a agreement to explore the deposits, earlier last year the Navy Chief Joshi sounds that, India can deploy it's Naval forces in South China sea to protect Indian interests, that's the first strong message sent to China in recent years,

Recently, The Chinese Officials acknowledged the New Australian PM's comment about South China sea, Prime minister Malcolm said "China to ease off on island construction in the South China Sea if it wants a reduced US presence in the region". He also says "Australia enjoyed very good relations with China, but described Beijing's South China Sea foreign policy as counter-productive".  and China reacted as Australia should respect Chinese interest in South China sea,

Also the US Senate Armed Service Committee, expressed that the Pacific command should increase surveillance flights over Chinese illegally claimed islands, they also said Preventing the Chinese from further militarizing those features a range of options including freedom of navigation exercises and US is  considering those options now.  Means in coming days, The US Could increases it's surveillance flights over illegal Chinese Islands, that makes small skirmishes in south china sea,

As India also showing it's increased interests in global politics, India and US almost drafting a plan to stop Chinese advancement in both South china sea and Indian Ocean, the alliance included Australia, Japan and South Korea, these countries can perform Scheduled exercise near those disputed waters, which gives benefits to all Pacific Nations and India.

China tests Hypersonic systems.! Has India found its way around ?

China tests Hypersonic systems.! Has India found its way around ?

China tests the Hypersonic Wu-14, what implications can this project have on the world? From India’s point of view !!!

The Chinese Defense and Science research center has claimed it has successfully carried out a test of the Wu 14 hypersonic missile on June 7th. The first reports of Chinese carrying out the test emerged in the Washington based Journal Free beacon, Chinese officials have also confirmed the test by releasing the pictures captured during this classified test.

The Wu 14 has been tested for a fourth time and the missile will have to go a long way to before the project can be absorbed into the forces.  The missile’s track record it’s own stories to say the missile was first launched in last where the missile had successfully completed all initial mission parameters but the missile had failed miserably during the second launch. The third and the fourth launch have been successful.

The Wu 14 is a hypersonic nuclear payload delivery system which can bypass some of the most advanced anti ballistic missile defense system. The MRV’s developed by various nations where designed to descend through the atmosphere and could have been intercepted by the advanced interceptor missile system. But the hypersonic vehicles were designed to enter the atmosphere and to glide up to their targets. While the vehicles glided the detection of these vehicles would be extremely hard and could greatly compromise the response time. The gliding vehicles are extremely maneuverable and can also extend the range substantially.

Pentagon in its recent release has confirmed the launch and has also reported that the Wu-14 is indeed a hypersonic vehicle which can attain extremely high speeds and can also employ measures to maneuver  the missile defense systems. The test of the Wu-14 comes at a time when the relationships between America and China have hit a new low after America reported Chinese alleged activities in the South China Sea. America has been very vocal about Chinese aggression in the Asia-Pacific region, America is now actively pitching for ratifying the ties within Asia-Pacific regions to counter China.

The threat of Wu 14 on India and the world

The Wu 14 is a major leap for the rapidly developing Chinese ballistic missile forces. The ballistic system has also received a major boost with the Wu-14 systems headed towards a successful induction process. The gliding Wu-14 vehicles can be fitted on to most of the ballistic missiles the Chinese have inducted to their armed forces.

With the vehicles gliding in the final phases the range will be increased considerably.  The vehicle will glide in extremely low altitudes and will level out unlike the conventional warheads. The Wu 14 can be a very efficient nuclear delivery system for the Chinese, the Wu 14 fitted on board the advanced ballistic systems can also be targeted at Aircraft carrier’s. With its hypersonic speed it is extremely hard for the carrier’s warning systems to track in the incoming threat and even if detected at the final phases the missile is extremely hard to be intercepted.

If China does master the technology it threatens to set-off a arms race in the already troubled Asia-Pacific region. India and US would be the first to respond and to develop such technologies to counterbalance the arsenal. With US deploying such missiles Russia may also follow the suit thus by involving the global powers to acquire such systems.

USA and India has recently signed agreements to jointly develop a ballistic missile interceptor system that can intercept most of the ballistic missiles. It is no wonder if USA and India agree upon to terms to co-develop a delivery system and more advanced interceptor system. India has also recently agreed to sign the MTCR which will allow India acquire the most advanced system and also helps India to export its missiles.

India has deployed the world’s fastest cruise missile, the BrahMos which was mastered with Russia’s help. India and Russia are believed to be the fore-runners in the scramjet engine technologies which are crucial in these projects to help attain the missiles the desired velocity. India already has started working on developing a hypersonic missile system under the ‘Shaurya’ project.

The missile developed under the program will be a canister based missile system which will be a hypersonic surface to surface tactical missile. The missile is speculated to be the land based version of the even more secret K-15 Sagarika missiles program. The missile is rumoured to have a range of around 1900 km and can also carry either conventional or nuclear warheads weighing up to one tonne

. The exact progress of the program is shrouded in secrecy but is believed to have been tested several times. The missile is believed to have been cleared for serial production and is slated to be inducted into the navy already. The ambitious BrahMos-II project is also slated to provide the armed forces with a hypersonic version of the lethal BrahMos.

Indian Navy in South China sea

Indian Navy in South China sea

The Chinese almost managed to build a base in south china sea, with small air strips and anti aircraft guns, for self defense of the Artificial Island, at first the US Navy confronted the Chinese Navy and flew above the Island and inspected the Chinese Developments, the Chinese main objective is to gain control of the South China sea which is owned by Vietnam and Philippines under International Law, once they discovered the huge natural deposits, China shown interest in the South China Sea starts its game to  take the Area with his military Power,

After the American aircraft the Philippines send it's coast guard, and tries to enter the South China sea, but unfortunately they never sailed near to the Artificial Islands, despite Chinese pressure, and the South Chinese Nations united and planned a Joint Naval drill near to the South China Sea, with the presence of US Navy, also Japan and Australia too planned for a Joint Naval drill in the SCS, to counterbalance Chinese influence in SCS.

Recently Chinese Warned the Indians do not explore oil or do not try any other activities near to South China sea, which will create Problems, a Chinese official quoted, where ONGC almost started excavating oils deposits from SCS. the Chinese already many times warned the Indians about exploring oil reserves in SCS, But India didn't shows it's resistance, Once the Navy openly bombard the Chinese by saying Navy will ready to use it's powers to secure it's interests in SCS.

The Indian Navy and Singapore Navy is in Singapore waters and conducting Joint annual Anti submarine warfare exercise named SIMBEX 2015, India sends it's ASW corvette INS Komarta and the Frigate INS Satpura, they almost completed the exercise and Now they heading to South China Sea,

Another set of Indian Naval group consisting a Destroyer INS Ranvir accompanied by the fleet Tanker INS Shakti scheduled to travel some south Asian countries like Vietnam, Philippines and Australia, but with the latest incidents in South China sea, now Navy plans a drill near to south china but within the Philippines naval shores, the Two countries planned a quick naval drill to show off it's power,

Earlier it's mentioned that some South Asian countries include India, and US , with Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Japan and Australia   planned a Huge Naval drills near by the SCS, But so far the reports says currently almost all friendly ships nearby SCS, and They will soon start the Drills,

Earlier two times the Indian Navy gets message from Chinese Navy, when operating within the friendly waters of Vietnam and Philippines, But India refused the Chinese warning and advanced to it's targets,

The New development in the China sea, and Indians Quick decision almost take the Chinese into their  highest sense.
