The Americans repeatedly supplying new weapons to the Pakistani's even after heavy pressure from the Indian side. The US president obliterating his expert committee's advice and US State congress advice to not supply more weapon packages to Pakistan. Pakistan is the known country who actively supporting terrorism in Indian Sub Continent.

It's clear from Indian side a good relationship with America only by stopping weapon supply to Pakistan, the country who repeatedly threatening India to an nuclear war, and sending military trained terrorists into India to carry out attacks all along the Line of control and Indo Pakistani border.

The new supply to the Pakistan from US is, nine additional number of modern AH 1Z viper attack helicopters and hand held thermal imagery devices for Pakistani army to improve the situational awareness. Pakistan also plans to start discussing about buying additional F 16 Blk 52 fighters too. These deals are all comes with US subsidiary.

India strongly condemns the US plan of selling F 16 fighter jets to Pakistan, even summoned the US ambassador to India. not only the F 16 fighter jets the US also supplying modern BVR missiles to them. Almost all Pakistani F 16's upgraded and capable to perform precision ground attack missions too.

The Pakistani's approached the French earlier to upgrade the Pakistani Mirage platforms to perform precision ground attack mission. The proposed deal worth of more than $1.6 billion which include Democles targeting pod and modification in the fighter aircraft. India strongly protested the proposed deal. which forced the French to drop the deal. Also French almost suspended almost all kind of military relationship with Pakistan.

India is closely working with the Americans with the interest of building closer military relationship to face the Chinese aggressive posture all along Indian border, from Kashmir to Andaman.  Indian and US military officials continuously visiting US and India respectively to conclude the military agreements like LSA, BECA and CISMOA. even working close on the DTTI program.

India expects a good relationship with the Americans, many of the US congress lawmakers and military leaders too. PACOM commander Adm Harris and US DoD secretary Ash Crater is known military brass who actively support Indian stand against both China and the rough regime Pakistan.

North Korea is the one who threatening the US forces in Korean continent and the American main land with nuclear weapons. The same Pakistan doing against India since decades. even more Pakistan sending military trained terrorists into India to destabilize the peace.

During the Gurdaspur attack, Indian intelligence recovered US made NVD devices from the attackers, which will be used by the Pakistani military or smuggled by Taliban from Afghanistan. India taken the issue to the US, who later redirected the FBI to investigate in the matter. also confirms the Pakistani government involvement in the Gurudaspur attack. same goes to the AFB Pathankot attack. US President Obama still not acknowledged the issue correctly and keep pushing more modern thermal equipment to Pakistan. 

The most pro Indian US military leader PACOM commander openly criticized the US government nod to sell F 16 to Pakistan, Adm Harris said F 16 deal with Pakistan will affects aspects on Indo US ties. Adm Harris also so active about the South China sea issue too. Reports emerged in Media that Adm Harris wants to confront China. White House says not so fast posted in Navy times which was later cleared by the PACOM that there is no such controversy between White house and PACOM.

By looking, Obama itself who supporting the Pakistan with few other democratic backing him. However no other Congressman or Republican want to supply weapons to Pakistan, the only terrorists regime in the Middle east who armed with Nuclear missiles.

Meanwhile one Pakistani analysts criticized Indian moves against the Fighter jet sale to Pakistan, saying India is singed a IGA with France for 36 modern Rafale's, and also looks to buy 200 plus 4++ gen fighter from USA. who saying some ten fighter jets and few attack helicopters can change the military stability of the region.

It's clear the Pakistan tries as much as they can to milk the Americans before the elections, that they know Republicans will not give any such weapons to Pakistan, Since Trump openly says I've a military plan for Pakistan. Trump known as pro Israeli and Pro Indian.

     Even after heavy pressure from Indian side the Obama led US government agrees to sell upto eight new F 16 block 52 fighters to Pakistan, by saying the additional number of fighter jets helps Pakistan to fight against terrorism, The new F 16 foreign military sales program was earlier blocked by the US congress members, However the president office over ruled and passed the contract.

    US and India comes very close in recent years, India almost stopped some key projects with Russia, due to the increased Russian Chinese relationship. In case of war the US and it's allies are the only hope to help the Indians, same like in 1962.

     So it's the US who also accept Indian interest of not getting close to Pakistan, Earlier once India heavily opposed the American plan of gifting all the used MRAP and other armored vehicles in Afghan war to  Pakistan. US assured India that they will not going to gift the used Armour vehicles to Pakistan.

    After that there is no good military sales was signed between US and Pakistan, however last year US sold AH 1 Z viper attack helicopter and hundreds of anti armor missiles to Pakistan, India didn't reacted about that AH 1 Z FMS deal. despite Indian signature of Ah 64 deal. 

    When Pakistan asks US to new F 16 fighters to strike against terrorists, India heavily opposed, not only India, many US lawmakers and peoples also opposed the deal,  this makes US to review the deal once again, Many of them from US congress suggested the US government to block further military assistance to Pakistan.

      Pakistan failed to react against terrorists, meantime they fueling them to fight against India and Afghan. It's well known that Pakistan is the birth place of world terrorism. The reason why India and many others concerned about the new F 16 sale.

     Pakistani's uses the F 16 only against India, not against terrorists, that's known to every one, Pakistan fools the International community by saying their fighter struck the Terrorists emplacements close to swat, However they failed to show evidences.

     The proposed sale consists of eight new F 16 block 52 fighter, comprised of two F 16 C variants/trainers and six F 16 D fighters, at the estimated value of some $700 millions, However the DSCA statement didn't mentions about any missile or weapon sale along with the F 16 fighters 

     Many law makers in the US congress surprised about the president's office decision of supplying the fighter jets, even after despite pressure from US Congress sponsored think tanks. The republican senators and other law makers told media, that they are going to over rule the decision and tries to block the white house decision.

    India also summoned US ambassador to India Richard varma, by saying "displeasure and disappointment” over Obama administration’s decision to sell F-16 fighter jets to Pakistan.“We are disappointed at the decision of the Obama administration to notify the sale of F-16 aircraft to Pakistan. We disagree with their rationale that such arms transfers help to combat terrorism.“The record of the last many years in this regard speaks for itself,” the MEA statement said.

     Meanwhile Indian defense minister Parrikar also said media, that they were in talks with USA to block the F 16 sale to Pakistan, by saying we still have options.

     As expected the US Congress blocked the Pakistani proposal of possible sale of modern F 16 Blk 52 Fighter jets, associated equipment's and missile systems. The Democratic American government agreed the Pakistani proposal of foreign military sales program to sell the F 16 C/D to Pakistan, However the congress who dominated by Republicans blocked the government proposal.

    There is one more way to deliver those fighter jets to Pakistan, that's The democratic president use his VETO power to bypass the Congress decision. Obama used his VETO power many times which makes many questions about Obama's over action bypassing the Congress decisions. The Republicans are mostly pro Indian and continuously slammed US friendly approach towards Pakistan.

    Pakistan approached US for possible sale of some eight Modern Blk 52 F 16 fighters, The Pakistani's overreacted by saying they will get the F 16 E/F or the Block 60 version, without knowing buying the F 16 Blk 60 needs UAE's approval, since most of the R&D spend on Block 60 is by UAE. 

    However this time as a surprise, A Democratic senator, who pushed the stall button when the congress discussed about the possible sale of F 16 to Pakistan. The deal further blocked by majority of Republican senators. There were very few or zero American senators defended the Proposed deal.

    The Pathankot attack also the major reason behind the block, since the US intelligence already alerted the Indians about possible terror attack close to India Pakistan border. US always pushed the Indians to continue peace talks with Pakistan. However Pakistan didn't interested in peace talks but interested in sponsoring terrorists to carry out attacks against India.

    One of the senior defense analyst and Ex CIA Bruce Riedel working under Brookings Institute who funded by Washington, said that Pakistani intelligence agency helped the Terrorists and gives training to the terrorists to attack the key forward air base in India close to Pakistan. India already have many evidences about the Air force base attack, where Pakistan yet to react.

    The Congress members also concerned about the Earlier delivered F 16's too pose a serious threat against India, Pakistan might use those fighter jets against the America's emerging new friend in Asia the Indians. By arming Pakistan makes huge imbalance in south Asia and destabilize the relationship between India and America.

    US Congress also warned that, the Pakistani's who continuously supporting the terrorists organizations who acting against India and Afghanistan also assisting other terrorist groups who planting attacks over Europe and America.  Senators also concerned about US continuously supporting Pakistan to attack terrorists, rather than attacking the Pakistani's are helping the terrorists.

    US Congress members also informed about American made Night Vision devices supplied to Pakistan found in Gurdaspur attack, Which is currently being investigated by FBI. This worries Pakistan is not a trusted ally, He is the Back stabber. A senate member told.

   The Congress also discussed about the Financial support to Pakistan, Which will be discussed with designated officers and Think tanks before making decision,  US Congress informed to the Public.

     The Pakistani Air force rapidly growing as a formidable air force with the induction of JF 17 block 2 fighters and F 16 Blk 52 fighters along with Airborne control center and multi role Tanker aircraft. PAF Spokesperson said this in a interview, when the PAC - Pakistani Aeronautical Complex delivered the 16th JF 17 Blk 2 fighter this year, Completing the goal of 16 Aircraft per year. He also said about the future of PAF with two advanced aircraft's. along with one twin engine aircraft.

    Pakistani Airforce plans to decommission all older generation fighter aircraft before 2020 and keep  just two model of advanced fighter aircraft later 2020. The older Fighter jets like French made Mirage series and Chinese modified MiG 21 are about to be completely withdrawn by 2020. In 2020 PAF would operate JF 17 Blk 2 and 3 version, F 16 Blk 52 version along with low number of either J 31 or the Su 35 for special missions.

    Pakistan air force set to receive the modified Block 3 fighters by early 2017, with Chinese made AESA Radar's, New engines and improved avionics and electronic warfare suites. PAF operates some fifty older generation JF 17's. Even though they do have the BVR capability and able to launch Anti shipping missiles too. Pakistan deployed a modified JF 17 blk 1 squadron close to Karachi for naval strike missions. PAC also plans to modernize those early models with advanced systems present in Blk 2 variants.

    The Block 2 version is currently in serial production, That PAF plans to induct thirty two fighter jets in two years span. The target set to PAC to deliver those new Blk variants within two years time. The PAC also completed the first batch of 16 aircraft's this year, and about to produce another 16 in 2016.

    The Chinese testing new engines avionics and radar's in their J 10 platform. Which can be easily transferred to the PAF JF 17's. China currently testing those new systems in J 10 B platform and set to achieve the goals before the fall of 2016.  Thus shows the Pakistani's can easily adopt new Chinese technologies in newer JF 17 when the production starts in 2017.

    Pakistani's another option is the proven F 16 fighters. PAF operates some seventy six F 16 Fighters where most of them are advanced variants. Those F 16 are multi role aircraft's comes with decent air to air mission systems and air to ground options. PAF also pressing the Americans to supply additional F 16 Blk 52 aircraft's. The Americans didn't responded the Pakistani proposal this time.

    The American government is ready to supply the new F 16 to Pakistani Air force. However the American congress dominated by the Republicans blocked the US government proposal of possible FMS sale. The Senate committee almost close to isolate the Pakistani's from the US allies list, Due to many reasons, Which include their support of terrorism and connections with China and Russia.

     It's reported due to the increased interests with Indians, Americans moving away from Pakistani options. The Republican President candidate Trump fingers Pakistan is the mother of Terrorists and US have many plans which include deploying American ground forces. He also supported Indian view of Pakistan and China, Also endorsed the US Congress option of making close relationship with India.

    It's clearly the PAF may add upto some 200 plus modern fourth generation fighter aircrafts and another twelve Su 35 S or J 31 advanced twin engine fighter jets before 2020. The fleet Supported by Il 78 tanker aircraft's for long range  mission supports,

    The PAF also have four SAAB 2000 Erieye airborne control center, The force multipliers make the fighter jets more powerful with additional jamming and control supports. PAF has another set of four Chinese AESA mounted on the An 12 modified as YJ 8 in China.

    The small but outstanding force is good enough to challenge the Indian Air force. However the 200 fighters numbers seems tiny when IAF operates more than six hundred modern twin engine fighters with advanced network centric systems.

    The Republic of Singapore Air force F 16 Fighting falcon and the Indian Air force Su 30 MKI Flanker engaged in a practice exercise to know the capability of each others fighter Jets. The RSAF has rival enemy China who operates Flankers and it's clones and the IAF's has rival enemy Pakistan who operates F 16 blk 52 fighters. The Joint military exercise validates the operational credibility of understanding the threats posed by each others fighter Jets. This is not the first time that IAF conducting military exercise against Fighting falcons, Earlier many times IAF fighter performed simulated attack run over Falcons in friendly exercises.

    The Joint Exercise code named SINDEX- Singapore India Exercise, The RSAF fighters conducting exercises with Indian Air forces many times since earlier 2004, The annual exercise mostly involves Singaporean F 16 against Indian Air force fighters such as Mirage 2000, MiG 29, Jaguar and Su 30 MKI. In this edition RSAF deployed six F 16 C/D or Blk 52 fighters along with hundred other personnel's led by Lt.Col Ong Teck Coon.

    Indian side deployed only four Su 30 MKI, The month long exercise conducted in Kalaikunda Air force station in India from November 12th to December 17th. Reports from Singapore suggested the two seat F 16 accommodated Indian Pilots for observation during close combat missions and long range interception. IAF too allowed the Singaporean pilots to embark the Flanker. Such exercise are very important to know how the Fighters will respond when scrambled to interception and conducting combat air patrol.

    India slowly increasing the military exercise with America and it's allies to counter Chinese threat. Indian Armed forces engaging numerous exercise with anti Chinese nations. What is new here is India slightly expanded the exercise period into  10 to 15 days from month long to train Indian pilots and armed forces to fight against foreign military's. Earlier SINDEX exercises are mostly ten to fifteen days only. However this years exercise went more than a month.

  This is not the first time IAF Su 30 MKI faced the F 16 Blk 52, Earlier the IAF get a chance to engage simulated attack against American F 16's during the COPE India exercise in November 2005. During Cope India 2005 Americans deployed 12 F 16 Blk 52 in IAF station in Kalaikunda to face off against the IAF's Su 30 MKI Flankers. During the exercise they performed aerial attack run and ground attack missions.

     One year before that's in 2004 at first time IAF Su 30 gets a chance to fight against simulated attack against F 16 fighters. In 2004 under the code name SINDEX 04 RSAF deployed Six F 16 C/D to face off against IAF's Su 30 MKI, MiG 27 and Mirage 2000 aircraft's. Later years RSAF deployed F 16 to face off other Indian fighters like MiG 29 and Jaguar aircraft's.

    This makes most or all of the IAF fighters have full information's of how a F 16 fighter will works. And IAF pilots know how to face off against Pakistani F 16 fighters when they engaged in surprise missions. Meantime the Pakistani's never been engaged their fighters against any Flankers. However it's believed that China already given enough information's about Flankers operating procedures.

RSAF and Indian Airforce

   A high level Singaporean defense officials also visited India during the exercise, and Signed a Defense cooperation agreement  along with Singapore India strategic partnership agreement. The mutual agreements are mostly focus on the anti Chinese alliance against Chinese illegal claims in South China sea. The Key points in the Agreements are,

(a) Establish a regular Defence Ministers' Dialogue;

(b) Deepen cooperation in maritime security; and

(c) Encourage cooperation between defence industries of the two countries.

(d) Joint Military Exercises.

(e) Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR)

    The Agreements also deepen the cooperation in earlier signed Naval ship location information's and joint cyber defense cooperation works between Singapore and India.

    After the recent spur in Syria when Turkey shot downed a Russian Su 24. It's almost changed many things against FSA Rebels, Kurd Rebels and the ISIS. All three have  sponsors and have their own agenda which different from each other, which makes the Situation difficult to understand and solve through diplomatic routes. Kurds needs a separate country in Syria, Iraqi and Turkish Border, Islamic state need entire Middle east, and the FSA needs Freedom in Syria by toppling the dictator who gassed and killed nearly half a million innocent Syrians.

    Here each gets revenues from respective partners or sponsor. More than thirty five million Kurd peoples lives in the Iraqi, Iranian, Turkish and Syrian Borders. Their major goal is independent Kurdistan representing their own peoples. Majority of Kurds are Sunni Islamist's as well as some Shia minority living in Iranian borders. Another half a million Yazedi's living very closely to Iraqi borders. As said above they fighting against everyone, Like against Turkish, Free Syrian Army and the ISIS.

   Americans supporting the Kurdish close to Iraq and Syria to fight against ISIS. After Iraq, Kurd peoples in Iraq attacked most by ISIS. So here Kurd gets funded by Americans and the West to defend them from those brutal terrorists groups. On the other hand FSA gets funds from Middle east and west. and the So called ISIS gets fund from their own oils, which was smuggled through Kurd tribal area's via Turkey.

    Russians openly said, only after the shot down, It's the Turkey who buying ISIS oils. While Turkey blames Syrian Assad who gets cheaper oil from ISIS. Analysts confirms the ISIS extracted oil come to the Kurd Borders. and the bidding involved by Oil companies and some Nations as Russians told Turkey's Government, Who bids higher gets the oil, which was moved via Turkey or Syria to the ports.  Russians and Americans targeting those oil Trucks, However most of the Trucks are unable to  be traced.

    After the shot down, Russians deployed S 400 long range air defense batteries, That can track targets upto some 400 kilometers meantime it will engage airborne targets upto some 400 kilometer. The range can be covered entire Cyprus, Israeli Jerusalem and major Turkish cities which include NATO base Incrilik too. Makes each and every aircraft flying in the zone can be monitored and  targeted.

   This makes every foreign aircraft flying in Syria comes under the S 400 umbrella. Makes some NATO missions inside Syria also in troubles. Currently Some US, French Aircraft's conducting strikes inside Syria. Last four days there were very less airstrikes conducted by Collation aircraft inside Syria. Anyhow the S 400 in Syria won't make any real changes, However this makes sense of Russian plan to protect the Syrian airspace from rival aircraft's from NATO.

    Russia also warned Turkey to do not enter Syrian Air space, If Turkey do so Russians will strike the Turkish Air crafts. Actually Turkish Fighters comes inside Syrian Air space to attack Kurd Rebels. It's very rare. However this will happens occasionally. Last four days there were very less or zero Activities reported. While American F 15 C and Turkish F 16 D conducting Combat Air patrol in Turkish Border normally. Turkey also warns Russia to do not enter Turkish air space otherwise they will do the same.

   Russia almost broken all kind of military and economic cooperation's with Turkey.  This worsen Russian economic only. Since Russians export to Turkey is about some $25 billions every year. while Turkish export to Russia just $6 Billions. Which means economically worsen Russians sanctioning themselves. Russia almost lost it economic relation with west since the illegal annexation of Crimea and waging war in Eastern Ukraine.

    Anyway the situations will worsen only if Turkey and Russia clash each others in Black Sea or in Syrian border. unless there will be no more escalations in the Su 24 shot down.

     The Obama administration considered the Pakistani proposal of supplying eight brand new F 16 Blk 52 Fighters to the Pakistani Air force in a unknown deal value. The deal was accepted the US president but which is yet to be cleared by the US Congress committee. It's highly unlikely the US congress would block the deal. Since the US Congress has majority of Republican members. The Pakistan Air force already operating some 53 modified F 16  A/B and another 18 F 16 C/D or Blk 52 Fighters. and the new batch of eight F 16 could be the Blk 52 model.

    The US administration is concerned about the possible nuclear proliferation of Pakistani nuclear warheads. The US think tanks suggested that Pakistan may increased their nuke warheads from 90 to 130 in last four years, and they also could overtake the England's nuke numbers by 2025. Since the UK government planning to shrink their nuke warheads into just 220. The US government tries to arm the Pakistan government conventionally to stop working on Nuclear programs.

    Earlier days the US will use their forces to stop others Nuclear programs, However the Democratic US government approaches some other ways to stop others Nuclear programs. One of the good example is the Bill Clinton's  North Korean nuclear deal. which was intended to stop the North Korean weapon grade nukes into civil nukes. However the North Koreans broke the deal and continued towards the weapon grade nuclear works. The same goes for Iran.

Democratic Obama offers billions of dollars and assistance to the civil nuke reactor construction in Iran. However they too working closely to produce nuclear warheads.The deal yet to be sealed. and still on the tables. Iran is also same like North Koreans and just tested a nuclear capable missile which was against the agreement of the Nuke deal.

    Obama administration doing the same mistake in Pakistani nuclear programs by offering more conventional weapons and civil nuke works. The US offered Pakistan as a waiver of assistance to constructing civil nuclear power plants, economically assist to construct dams, and providing more fighter jets and munitions to the Pakistani Armed forces.

     The US wanted to use the Pakistani lands to move over Afghanistan. Pakistan suing the US much money for using Pakistani roads. Pakistan charges some $500 to $2000 per trucks who using Pakistani roads. So the Obama administration also need to impress the Pakistani's by give more weapons and fighter aircraft's.

 Coming to the F 16 delivery's, The US government stalled or cancelled more than seventy F 16 A/B fighters and delivered some forty F 16 A/B Fighters early 1990's. Later days all of them upgraded to fire BVR missiles and Harpoon anti shipping missiles. and US delivered 18 brand new F 16 Blk 52 or C/D fighters which is much capable multi role fighters to conduct air to air and surface as well as maritime missions too. US also allowed Jordan to deliver some 13 F 16 A/B fighters to Pakistan. Those are also upgraded into ADF version. which is much suited for air to air missions.

     Recently the US congress funded Think Tank suggested that arming the Pakistan is the bad idea. They might be join the Chinese to attack Indians in case of war. The congress members much concerned about the safety of Pakistani nuclear weapons too. The US tracks the Pakistani's F 16's movements all time. However in early 1990 they modified some F 16 B fighters to carry Nuclear bombs.

     Even if the current deal is signed the Pakistani fleet of F 16 numbers would increased into 78. which include 28 brand new F 16 C/D Blk 52. The Blk 52 is the multi role capable strike aircraft. which can carryout air to ground, air to air and maritime strike missions.

    The current F 16 C/D sale is not a threat to the Indian Fighter's. Since the IAF has equipped with much modern twin engine Su 30 MKI and MiG 29 UPG's. both are primarily built for air to air missions with little air to ground capabilities.

    However in April, The US government approved the possible sale of 15 new AH 1 Z viper attack helicopters along with 1000 Hell fire anti tank missiles along with associated systems for less than a billion dollars.

   All the US delivered systems are always under American watch, India too keep the satellites to track the F 16 fighter and Mirage fleet of PAF along with future AH 1Z. since they can make little damages to Indian Air force and Indian ground units. The Pakistani Mirage fleet and F 16 A/B can carry nuclear gravity bombs. Just like how the IAF Jaguar assigned for nuclear strike roles.

   Anyway, the proposed civil nuclear deal and Fighter jet acquisition deal yet to be approved by the US congress. and It's possible that US congress may block the proposed deal.

    The Indian Air forces major problem is the less numbers of required Fighter jets and Failed back up plans, as their two Back up plans failed to restore the squadron strength, It looks like IAF plans to re think to look on the Qatari proposal of buying their Mirage 2000-9 fighters, and the Greece also shown interests of sell their Mirage 2000-5 Fleet. as Greece in major problem of no reserve money to run the government.

     MiG 21, and Mig 27 is running behind the Schedule of the retired date, they even didn't have the capability of doing single mission in modern combat, IAF plans to retire them by early 2010 or at most 2012, with one major plan and another Back up plan, they almost in Talks with the government to purchase multi role combat Jets since 2000,  more than fifteen years still no progress of the Acquisitions, except missing deadlines and Bureaucracy sounds,  and another is the LCA Tejas, which is also in same scenario running behind the Schedule.

     While some one says, If HAL completes a design and Suggest it to the IAF, the IAF change the requirements and ask for different model. not the entire air frame but some minor changes. ADA again spend  one or two years to design new and request the IAF to accept, But meantime , New Technologies were incorporated by foreign enemy air forces as new technologies  discovered. so Air force again changes it's requirements and design new one .thus makes the Program delay. But actually it's the history of Invention and emerging threats from foreign air force makes the outdated Fighter not capable to fight against the enemy.

   as those two plans are almost dead, The Air force gets a option of spend some $2 billions for fighter Aircrafts, The IAF loves the Mirage very well, it proved well in the Kargil, so they need to upgrade those Mirages into newest standard. meantime they get another proposal from Qatar that they willing sell their mirages to foreign countries, Qatar has some 10+ Mirages 2000 all were upgraded into newest version along new Radar and New Engines. But IAF has only one plans buy the Mirages from Qatar and forget the Upgradation vice versa.

   But interestingly the IAF decision makers took a good decision of upgrading the Mirage 2000 platform into most advanced Mirage 200OTH version, but yes the Mirage upgrade is too costly, same for the missile packages, the deal almost went more than $3 billions. and IAF already inducted those Highly upgraded modern Mirages into the IAF fleets. Interesting is the mirages service availability remains more than 80%. means almost all Miarges Ready to fly mode in all times,meantime the Indian made HAL Su 30 MKI service availability somewhere between 50-60 percentage.

   As no clear path of Rafale procurement, IAF lost it's hopes over the Rafale's. also the depleting squadron strength also makes huge problems. so they look for second hand planes, earlier many of the  defense analysts raised their voice over the same concern and insisted  buying some retired F 18 fighters from the US Navy, Thus gives the life to IAF more than 10 years, means some 100 second hand F 18 can easily fill up five full fledged Squadrons, makes sense for depleting squadrons,

  But for sake, The Greece is in heavy financial crisis, some western Journalists reports Greece may sell their advanced Mirage 2000 Fleets and stick with the F 16 only, the Greece uses those Mirages very well, the Mirage protected Greece Airspace from intruders and violators, early in 1996 the Greece Mirage 2000 engaged a Turkish F 16 and Shoot it down, later in the 2012 they did the same, again Turkey F 16 violates, The Greek Mirage Shoot it down, Just last week same kind of incident a Turkish F 16 flew near to a Greek controlled Island, within a minutes Greek Miarge 2000 dispatched and Chased the Turkish F 16, But didn't shoot it.

   Both Qatari and Greek Mirages are upgraded and modern one, well maintained also combat proven, but which should come in a Handy price of some $7 to $12 million a piece, Qatar has some 10 Miarges and Greece has some 40 Mirages, with the combine price of some $500 millions makes that good deal, and another $500 millions for Ground support equipments and missiles makes the deal very good for stop gap measure.

  But the Option is on the Ministry's Table, and they should take care of the IAF proposal.

Legendary MiG 21 armed with R 77 Radar Guide Missile

      Operation Safed Sager is a Code Name of IAF's Attack missions on Bakistani Positions during the Kargil war 1999. The IAF insisted to Provide as much as Support to the Ground Forces to recapture Bakistani postilions along Indian Side. It's the first time since 1971 war Indian Air force  taken a large scale attack on Bakistani positions.

        The Bakistani troops intruded in most stretched area's of Kargil sector which is not easy to go by foots. also the Bakistani have good artillery support to keep their Troops there in the Positions. hence the Army need and Air operation to toast them out.

         IAF asked the Cabinet committee to support the Army on May 11 using with only rotary wing aircraft such as attack helicopters. Indian Air force operated Russian supplied Mi 24 hind dedicated attack helicopter  and Mi 17 modified to carry rocket pods since it's a troop transporter. IAF start using the Helicopters to fight against the intruders. ten days later IAF's canberra is on Photo Recon mission over the Line of Control. the Bakistani's fired a US supplied Stinger Missile. they fired a Single missile that hit the one engine. Canberra back to the Base with using the another engine. that fueled the Air force to use the Fighters in the Game. the Cabinet committee also given green signal to the IAF carryout attack with all available Jets.  The Airforce used the Sri nagar airport to launch the fighters. since it's a civil airport GoI give authorization to IAF to use it.

     within the minuets IAF  assigned a Strike role consists of MiG 27 Ground Attack Fighter covered by MiG 21 interceptor. the Mig 27 carried Bombs and Rocket Pods rained missiles all over the Bakistani Positions without crossing the LoC. while the MiG 21 keep an eye over the air looking for Enemy intruders. and again the Attack helicopters carryout multiple Attacks over Bakistani positions near Tiger Hill.

    next day May 27 Air force carried out same package again. this time Bakistani's are up and shoot downed a Mig 21 and MiG 27 using with Stinger MANPADS. later another Troop transporter also hit by an MANPAD killing all crew. IAF learned a Lesson of due to the MANPAD threats in low altitudes IAF withdrawn all helicopters from the Operation.

      later The Israeli's joined the IAF team by providing Lethal LGB's (Laser Guided bomb's). which is suddenly integrated with Mirage 2000 fleet. the IAF also bring it's top notch that is Bombing role by Mirage 2000 and Escort Role by MiG 29. the Mirage dropped 100kg Laser Guided Bombs and 250 Kg Dumb bomb over the bakistani positions for next consecutive days. The Mirage provided excelled fire support to the Indian Army troops to advance Bakistani Positions also the Mig 29 pinned entire PAF jets keep in the Grounds.

    End of May the IAF send an Mig 27 for photo recon mission which is heavily hit by enemy ground fire. since engines are out pilot ejected from the Aircraft but landed on enemy Controlled area. the IAF suddenly launched a MiG 21 to track the ejected pilot. but his fighter also struck by an enemy MANPAD. a stinger missile brought down the Mig 21. the enemy captured the Pilot later executed by Bakistani Army. violating Geneva convention of war.   

     The next day again the air force lost an Mi-17 Helicopter to a manpad  near Tololing, killing four.it's completely a chaos for the Airforce suddenly withdraw all flying wings who can't able to do missions in the Height of 33,000 feet which is vulnerable to the enemy MANPADS.  the IAF stricted to use only with the High altitude Best Performers the mirage and Mig 29. they carryout missions through only these aircraft till the end of Kargil war. after those loss IAF didn't loss any other Planes in the Combat.

        During the Air force Missions the Bakistan used it's F 16's to provide CAP over the Bakistani Territory. but they are too close to the Indian Line of Control. once a MiG 29 for IAF's Black Archers Sqn  on a escort mission they found two F 16 patrolling over the Bakistani area'. the Mig's equipped with deadly R 77 BVR for escort missions. when the found the F 16 they tried to lock it on their Fire Control radar. they achieved too. now those two F 16's under BVR Lock by the MiG 29. IAF insisted do not engage any aircraft flying outer Indian Border. thus saves the Bakistani Fighters to give second life.

 Sooner the Bakistani's identified the IAF's doctrine of Combat which forced them to do not carry out or launch mission with their Fighter Fleet. the entire PAF in silent during the Kargil war.
