"The IMT trilateral highway project will be signed among three countries -- India, Myanmar and Thailand. The agreement is ready. We will sign it within 15 days so that there will be seamless connectivity to all these countries," Gadkari told the India Today Conclave here.

"Connectivity between Bangladesh, India, Bhutan and Nepal to promote seamless movement of goods from border has been already signed," the minister said, referring to the agreement inked in June last year, as part of a larger plan to connect the Subcontinent with Asean members.

"Now, 25 places from India have a bus service to Bangladesh."

Dwelling on faster road network, Gadkari said work had started on eastern and western principal express highways. This apart, the Delhi-Panipat highway was being built at a cost of Rs.15,000 crore, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi setting a target of 400 days for completion.

He also said that the 90-km, 14-lane Delhi-Meerut Express Highway will be a first of kind in India.

Gadkari said the country's northeast region was also a top priority for his government and that Rs.1 lakh crore had been allocated for roads projects there. "Our target is to complete the project in the northeast by five years," he said.

"Our 'Bharatmala' project is also on track," the minister said, referring to the plan for a major initiative for the national highways to improve road connectivity along the coast, borders, least developed regions, religious places, tourist spots along with bridges and road widening.

Detailed project reports are already being prepared for 17,200 km of roads with 205 rail over- and under-passes and 1,500 major bridges along the national highways. In ports, modernisation plans are afoot, even as work is progressing fast on inland waterways, Gadkari said.

Mission Debrief : Para Commandos Cross Border Raid

Mission Debrief : Para Commandos Cross Border Raid

Army did a Tough operation outside Indian Borders, The Militants groups mainly from NSCN(K), ULFA and KLF did a Plot of Ambushing Indian Army's Ghatak forces from Dogra Regiment, they completed their routine Patrol and returning to their base camps. on the way the Militant groups ambushed the Army convoy's and firing Rocket Propelled Grenades along with Heavy machine Gun fire, resulting 18 of the Army soldiers lives,

The Government looks this incident seriously, sends it's NSA ( National Security Advisor/Agency) to take care of those Militants who attacked the Army convoy. Doval head of NSA along with NIA team set a base camp near Chnadel district Manipur, and they started the investigation, early informations clearly mentions that the attackers already fled into Myanmar where they living Myanmar Jungles.

So it's a tough scenario to the NSA to search and perform scout missions outside Indian territory, thus needs High level Clearance, Also center gives a the order to NSA carry out reconnaissance missions inside Myanmar. NSA used UAV's to carryout reconnaissance missions, since satellites are useful for searching such a forests, UAV with thermal camera's is important.

The Team almost collected all Ground informations and confirmed about their positions, they get additional informations by tracking their wireless phone signals, further confirming their identity, after those informations collected, NSA need to carry out attack missions outside Borders, so plenty of options discussed, so Surgical strike is must, so using Air power neglected. they need a elite commando's to carryout the attacks, so far Army is concerned this matter Army's Elite Para Commandos the 21st para Special forces called in,

Before that Army, CRPF and Civil police almost explored each and every inch of Chandel Forests, fond no sign of militants,

NSA again send a nod to the Government for cross border Action, Such a missions are hardly accepted by governments, usually India uses the Diplomatic options to resolve such matters. in most cases Government gives proper evidences to foreign nation about the insurgency group and ask to their Army to carryout attack missions, results mostly failures.

But this time Government don't want to waste the time on such discussion, they give go order to NSA, soon after NSA assigned  a 40 members of elite para commandos, and boarded them into Indian made Dhruv Helicopters, there is no report of how many Dhruv's used, but seems like three to four of them used, two with commando's one for Emergency, also a Mi 35 attack Helicopters for over watch.

The team crossed the Indo Myanmar border and dropped the soldier 4 kilometers far from the Borders, meanwhile the Mi 35 used it's primary 12.7mm cannon for close support, the Shock and awe mission usually known in Military words. the militants tumbled with in a seconds para's annihilated each and every of them, and boarded into their respective helicopters. and come back safely.

The death counts noted from twenty to Fifty on enemy side, and Commandos even don't get a Injury. a marvelous operation done by Indian Army.

Why Myanmar Bombed China

Why Myanmar Bombed China

The Chinese Built Nanchang Q 5 Ground Attack Jet

Myanmar Forces Patrol near Kokang Provenance

Last Friday a Myanmar fighter jet dropped a bomb over a Chinese field close to the International border shared by Myanmar and China. This resulted in the death of four Chinese nationals. This is an unintended incident that has led to an tense standoff between the nations. China and Myanmar have had a hostile history.

The Ethic Chinese rebels and the Myanmar had agreed for a cease fire according to an accord that dates back to around five years, but this cease fire rarely ever existed with the Chinese rebels violating the accord repeatedly.  Myanmar announced improvised strikes against these rebels last month, resulting in huge causalities on both sides.

A Chinese Built Mig 19 flew providing Close Air support to the Myanmar ground forces fighting close to the border shared with China. Suffering an abnormality the jet unfortunately dropped its ordinance Yunnan province on the Chinese territory. It’s claimed that the pilot identified some sugarcane farmers as rebels and bombed resulting in four deaths and leaving nine others wounded. Last week a bomb was dropped over a Chinese village which ended up damaging several houses.

When the fighting started since the middle of last month thousands of Myanmar peoples citizens have taken refuge in China. The Kokang rebels are known to be operating from inside China and have repeatedly orchestrated attacks across Myanmar border. The Rebel leaders are known to have had strong connections with Beijing. Rebels are in a dispute with the Myanmar government to secure rights for the Chinese ethical groups which have been neglected by the Myanmar government. The rebels have resorted to armed movement against the government for securing autonomous options for their Kokang area. China is known to be fuelling and providing active support to these rebels to fight against the Myanmar forces. Which is a direct result of the Myanmar’s shift towards American and Western policy? Myanmar is og huge interest to the Chinese government, Myanmar has blocked China an direct access to the all crucial high seas of Bay of Bengal. Myanmar time and again turned down China’s request for access to the Bay of Bengal.

Soon after the fatal bombing, Chinese Airforce deployed it’s fighters to take stock of the situation. The Chinese foreign minister also summoned the Myanmar ambassador and held a brief meeting about the bombing involving innocent Chinese citizens. While the Chinese official state media said "made it all the more imperative for Myanmar to honor its commitment to safeguarding peace and security on the border area to avoid a spill over of its war fire". “The conflict in northern Myanmar [is] the country's internal affair and the Chinese side has always respected Myanmar's sovereignty and territorial integrity. China hopes the conflict can be resolved peacefully as soon as possible."

But China has restricted its citizens against issuing any information about the attacks in public. China has also said there were more than 60000 refugees seeking refuge in China. China has provided humanitarian support to these refugees.

The armed rebels numbered to around two thousand have armed themselves with AK 47, mortars and rocket propelled grenades and is actively engaging the Myanmar government. Myanmar government has also planned to negotiate a ceasefire with the Kokang rebels in the coming days. The rebels commented they are now having more than 5000 fighters but they have no connections with Chinese officials, and he refused to comment when question about arms supply was raised.

The peoples of the Kokang have also been affected by this conflict resulting in civilian deaths, while they have repeatedly demanded for more autonomous power. Myanmar has repeatedly said this is an “Hybrid warfare mechanism being handled by Chinese officials to destabilize the situation. “
