Pakistan repeating terrorism, India remains silent

Pakistan repeating terrorism, India remains silent

The new government sworn with the promise of crushing the cross border terrorism carried out by Pakistani army and the ISI. The earlier government relies on talking with the deaf who never hear Indian proposal of stopping infiltration. The new government promised they never talk with the rough regime rather than taking actions.

After two years of repeated terrorist attacks, the new government also adopts what the Congress govt used to stop terrorism, However the new BJP government went more than one step by allowing the Pakistani investigation team to investigate in Pathankot. with the repeated question of Pakistani action over the preparators of Pathankot attack.

The congress government poorly reacted when the Pakistani trained terrorists attacked Mumbai, while The government taken steps of mobilizing troops and bring the army's preparedness level into maximum, without taking any actions. Later years CAG and Army general slammed the government not to take steps to restore the war ammunition and reserve ammunition storage.

The above two issue gives victory to the BJP government, who known as aggressor against Pakistan. Even after BJP comes into power Pakistan conducting the same infiltration, as first some days Indian ministers and officials commented roughly against Pakistani actions along the border. This impressed the Indian Army and Civilians that if Pakistan continues the same, India might teach another lesson to Pakistan.

There were couple of major terrorist attack in India in last two years, Gurdaspur and Pathankot is remain top in all, The ongoing firing in Pampore also critical since the Terrorist captured a govt building and already killed five of our soldiers which include two Para special forces captain and a civilian. So far there is no official words issued from the government.

The BJP government once dispatched a special team into Burma to conduct a cross border ops against Maoist, revenging the killing of army colleagues. that impressed the Indian peoples that India might do the same in Pakistan occupied Kashmir too. what Pakistan replied is " we are a nuclear state, India do not try something like this in Pakistani soil ". The government didn't reacted and accepted the nuclear blackmail.

Pakistan repeatedly blackmailing India with it's unknown reliability of nuclear missiles, which makes the political spineless leaders sit idle, rather than allowing the army to carryout operations. The Government often blackmailed by Chinese too, the Chinese also showing solidarity with Pakistan, who makes Indian Army busy in fighting.

Days ago, NSA Doval slammed the government about not allowing the soldiers to conduct combat operations. Doval also slammed the government's decision of fencing the borders too, He said those fences won't stop the infiltrator or the Pakistani army. What he said is true and we can see in reality.

As of now Indian armed forces are fully capable to trash the Pakistani uniformed terrorists, The Air force fighters can conduct more than 200 sorties per day, which is the minimum figure, The mechanized forces and armored column can reach the border with in 48 hours, The Navy also ready to conduct wrecking mission along Pakistani coast.

Our SAM batteries are ready to shoot down any incoming missiles, who are all escaped from the first wave of air strike. to keep Indian skies safe and secure during entire conflict.

What we need is the spineless political leaders must react and allow our forces to conduct a limited conflict.

As for your information peoples, the martyred captain Pawan Kumar is just 23 years old, he is a only son of his family. the father gave him for us, Such souls are repeatedly buried every months, killed by Pakistani terrorists. The Pathankot NSG lt Col Niranjan's life also a example, who leave his three month old child.

This may continue till we take action, the words and authorization of allowing the Army to conduct a limited conflict with Pakistan under the cabinet and the prime minister.

Resolving The Myth of Pathankot

Resolving The Myth of Pathankot

Pathankot Air base one of the key forward airbase located just 40 kilometers from the Border, The Base hosts military fighter jets like MiG 21 Bisons and Mi 24 attack helicopters. Pathankot remains the top priority of Pakistan. Pakistan tried many operations to sabotage the Air force base. However they never achieved a good score when they tries to hit the base.

It's the early morning in 6th September 1965, The days of Indo Pakistani war. Pakistan plans to sabotage key Indian military bases close to the Border, So they send it's elite special forces to perform the mission. In the morning 6th September, A Pakistani air force C 130 flown over the Indian Air space close to Pathankot.

The Pakistani Special forces known as SSG were para dropped from the C 130 and landed close to Pathankot air force base, Some other were dropped over Adampur and Halwara too. The SSG thinks the Army were so busy in eastern border, so they can easily control the Indian forward bases close to Pakistan. However the citizens and the state police found the intruders and detained them. Later they were transferred to Indian Army. the Known best SSG operation thwarted by locals.

Pathankot once again targeted in 2015, However they were stopped before coming close to the Air force base, After the Police identified the terrorists, they were pinned down close to Gurdaspur, The actual distance between Pathankot to Gurdaspur is just some 40 kilometers. While The Indian Intelligence smelled that Pakistani's may target the Air force base again.

The Pakistani backed terrorists attacked the Pathankot base third time, However this time they get little success, where they entered the base's open field, While the Indian Armed forces and NSG never allowed them to enter key strategic base locations.

The Pakistani backed terrorists plans to do major damages to the Air force base by igniting the fuel Tanks and detonating the weapon storage sites. Which followed by destroying fighter aircraft's and other key ground equipment's.

Ministry confirms that terrorists used 60mm mortars and 12.7mm heavy machine guns for continuous firing over the Indian force. which keeps the Indian soldiers far away from the attack zone. This will give enough room to terrorists to achieve their primary mission.

However the Air force security personnel and the NSG keeps the terrorists heads down by targeting any moving objects. So the terrorists hardly get time to position those heavy machines for fire support. Some sources say they used the mortar and 12.7mm guns. However they didn't able to point on the exact target.

The base is damn huge in size, due to large buildings to house soldiers and open fields for deployment, This makes the operation took long time, The NSG also planned to capture alive anyone. However due to the over running time they were blown up the building where the terrorists used to hide.

The Pakistani Terrorists operation is failed, However India lost seven of it's soldiers, Out of five were Security guards, they won't carry any fire arms. since they were ex army soldiers who were in duty of safe guarding the Base. One Air force garud commando and another NSG EOD technician lost their lives in the attack. Indian soldiers killed all terrorists and NSG undertaken the Air force base after the shoot out ended.

Pakistan too attacked by some of anti government terrorists, Key air force base in Kamra attacked by the Terrorists in early 2012. The terrorists made some good damages to the Pakistani air force by completely destroying one Saab Erieye AEWCS and damaging two others. The base attacked by nine terrorists who also killed two Pakistani soldiers.

Year before in 2011, The Terrorists attacked the Pakistani naval base in Karachi, making devastating losses to Pakistani Navy, The Attack was a huge lose to Pakistan, since Pakistan lost many of it's personnel and key aircraft's too, Pakistan lost two P 3C Orion Anti submarine aircraft, also lost eighteen soldiers which include SSG and Pakistani Ranger special forces.  Even in the attack two terrorists successfully escaped from the zone and remains in large.

Hands tied, Indian Armed Forces

Hands tied, Indian Armed Forces

It's not something new, That the Indian armed forces power still under soft hands, who didn't allow them to give a option to show their fire power against enemy threats. Pakistan carried out more number of attacks inside Indian soil day by day. The new government sworn with the promise of  crushing terrorism and stopping Pakistani undercover operations against India.

The Gurdaspur attack is one of the eye opener that Pakistan still sponsoring terrorists to carryout attacks inside India. Another side most of the government officials thinks cross border violations are nature, The Ministry failed to know how the armed forces operates under dense conditions, even the Government have Ex General of the Army in his ministry. That will not make wonders, Since he is not in the Cabinet.

The Government wrongly understand the logic, India must adopt Israeli policy when dealing with terrorism. It's not the armed forces, It's the Political leaders who must learn from the Israeli leaders, Who gave full freedom to Israeli's to carryout cross border raids against their enemies at any time.

Questions raise, Is Indian government feared about the Pakistani nuclear sabre rattling, That's also raise some questions in Cabinet, Once Indian forces penetrated Myanmar airspace and killed several key Naxal leaders. Pakistan responded the Indian action with bit anger, While Indians in social media sounded Pakistan is next target. Pakistan said we were nuclear nation don't try carryout such operations inside Pakistani soil.

The Cross Border raid inside Myanmar happens in 10th June, Exactly one and half month later Pakistan committed another Attack inside Indian land, The Gurdaspur attack killed seven Indians. Pakistan send three of it's trained terrorists to check Indian capability of conducting strikes against Pakistan. Gurdaspur is just some miles away from Pakistan.

The Attack made another set of issues with India Pakistan relationship. The Indian government closed the Indian citizen's mouth by saying there is no more peace talks with Pakistani's. Meanwhile ceasefire violations across the Line of Control still happens, The Government have no idea or they won't have time to hear what happening in the LoC.

After some efforts, India resumed Peace talks with Pakistan, Modi also visited Pakistan as a surprise. This one was a very bad idea, since Pakistan always known as back stabbers. Since 1947 every Indian and everyone in the world knows Pakistan is not trusted to anyone and they never stop sponsoring terrorism. Even the PM Modi also don't have an idea how to resolve the border disputes with Pakistan. Then how confident he can walk in the enemy soil.

There is no idea why the NSA Doval and PM modi keep moving with Pakistan and pushing them for peace talks, Are they afraid of Pakistani loose nukes. They don't believe in our forces. Pakistan is our enemy and forever they are, there is no option to compromise. Pakistan is the only country who creating troubles in India. From Sponsoring Kashmiri separatists to Military trained terrorists  attacks in India. Still the government pushing for talks.

As Saurav Jha said, Pakistan attacking us also talking with us, why don't we attacking them, instead of just talking. This is what the reality happening since many years. After the Pathankot attack The government met with his cabinet ministers and released a statement, "We urge Pakistan to take tough actions against Terrorists " . Wow what a brilliant statement from the Government who controls the world's 4th largest army.

Are they gone mad, The statement looks so, Even India didn't attack the Terrorists whose locations also known to the government, Then how do they expect the same from Pakistan. The congress in 2008 too asked the same to Pakistan, The reaction from Pakistan known to everyone.

The Investigation team also provides exact location information of the terrorists to Pakistan to take actions against those terrorists. Our Question is.? Don't your fighter's fly, don't your bombs explode. The government put the fire power into the ice box. freezing till now, even the deadly attack in the Air force base Pathankot. The same saga repeats. The 26/11=Gurdaspur=AFB Pathankot all are same. the aftermath also same.

Just a small example how other countries react in such situations, on 4th Jan, An Israeli border patrol team who patrolling the Lebanon Israeli border targeted by Hezbullah, The Hezbullah terrorists planted an IED in the patrol area, which targeted some Israeli soldiers. There were no casualties and the damage is also very minimal. How did they responded, within a second Israeli artillery's rocked the Lebanese border, IDF patrol team shelled towards Lebanon using Heavy machine guns. AH 64 gunships breached Lebanon airspace and attacked some Lebanese positions.  Is anyone from Lebanon think again to attack Israel, Answer is known to every one.

Why don't the same happens in India, Indian army is far stronger than Pakistan in any fields, What stopping the government to give a go order to Armed forces to carry out attacks over terrorists camps operating along Indo Pakistani border.

Or we may adjust with our own, Pakistan will keep fire and conducting attack missions, We and our Government always looks for peace talks and hot line phone calls.

This is the third time Since the new government failed to react against Pakistan. the PM Modi or his NSA friend Doval also incapable to secure our Soldiers lives..!!

Pathankot attack: Answering five questions everyone asks after a Pak-directed strike on India

Pathankot attack: Answering five questions everyone asks after a Pak-directed strike on India

As counter-terrorist operations at the Pathankot Indian Air Force (IAF) base continues into the third day, the ordinary man wants answers to the same five questions he has asked following every terror strike engineered by Pakistan:

One, why this strike?

Two, will Pakistan ever end the proxy war?

Three, do we continue the Indo-Pak dialogue?

Four, why are we permitting ourselves to be subjected to Pakistan’s “thousand cut” policy?

Five, where do we go from here?

Why this strike at the IAF base? There could be multiple reasons. The Pakistani military may have been stung by the recent Modi-Nawaz hug at Lahore and wanted to immediately assert its supremacy overnight. It was more of a repeat of Musharraf backstabbing Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee after his bus trip to Lahore, with the Kargil intrusions. This time Army Chief Raheel Sharif has orchestrated the terror strike in Pathankot, for the involvement of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) is implicit.

Next, Islamic State has been endeavouring to rekindle militancy in Punjab for the past five-six years, prelude to which has been the mass infusion of narcotics into Punjab, particularly in the youth and rural areas and establishing conduits on the Indian side. The well-oiled smuggling routes facilitate infiltration when required, as in the case of Gurdaspur terror attack and now Pathankot. The ease with which a vehicle was arranged from the Indian side using a Pakistani telephone indicates the nexus (which the drug mafia will deny).

An IAF base was chosen as the target because of its expanse, and part of the periphery secured only through patrolling makes access easy. Once inside, terrorists can lie doggo in the underbrush or move from cover to cover retaining the initiative of firing at any movement. Besides, aircraft are lucrative trophies that can be targeted by small arms and RPGs, enhancing the terror and panic value. The Pathankot strike was planned in the same manner as the 26/11 Mumbai terror strikes by the ISI, with the former lot trained by Pakistani Marines and this time the Special Services Group.

Will Pakistan ever end the proxy war? The straight answer is no, unless the Pakistani army is ‘forced’ to do so. Unfortunately, both US and China continue to support the Pakistani military in their own national interests. US, which forced Pakistan to join the Global War On Terror (GWOT) under threat of “bombing it into stone age” can easily put enough pressure on Pakistan to end her proxy wars on India and Afghanistan, but does not do so. Even in the case of the Pathankot strike, where there is clear evidence of Pakistani handlers, US has made the routine perfunctory statement including that all countries in the region should cooperate in curbing terror.

China, in any case is hand-in-glove with Pakistan even at the sub-conventional level against India. The Pakistani military holds all the cards in Pakistan and defines the country’s foreign and defence policies. Her private business-corporate empire was reportedly to the tune of US$ 20.7 billion way back in 2007. There is no way it will let go of such power and finances. Hence, it must continue to have confrontation with India and Afghanistan. That is why Musharraf sang: “Even if the Kashmir issue is resolved, jihad against India will continue.”

The recruitment base of the military and terrorist organisations are common and latter are also supported by cross-section of Pakistani administration and polity. More significantly in the current era, where even big powers are using proxies in conflict, Pakistani proxies are of use both to US and China for playing the Great Game.

Do we continue the Indo-Pak dialogue? This perhaps is the easiest to answer; perhaps we can continue the dialogue because nations talk even while at war. However, the strike at the Pathankot IAF base and simultaneous targeting of the Indian Consulate at Mazar-e-Sharif holds a clear message from the Pakistani military – you can talk as you like but we will continue the proxy war. So it is for the Indian government to decide.

Why have we permitted ourselves to be subjected to Pakistan’s “thousand cut” policy? The answer perhaps lies in what veteran Research & Analysis Wing (R&AW) officers have been hinting in their writings for some time; that sections of our polity are perhaps under ISI blackmail having used hawala, who have been advocating a soft approach or, should we say, a policy of drift. In addition, some of our media houses appear aligned or bribed by the ISI and this is not only about giving out explicit operational details during terror strikes that are of advantage to the Pakistani handlers during the operation and to the ISI in the long run.

Where do we go from here? Many questions are being raised about our response to the Pathankot terror strike, which will be addressed once the operation ends. However, the bottom-line is that despite battling terror for decades India has failed to acknowledge that conventional force and diplomacy by itself is no match to sub-conventional war.

Both Pakistan and China have advanced sub-conventional capabilities that they are employing proactively against us while we have failed to do so. This is a great strategic asymmetry because of which we have been constantly at the receiving end; no forward movement despite similar terror strikes a decade back at Kaluchak, Tanda and elsewhere. There is urgent need to develop credible deterrence against the proxy wars waged against us, which will need to be demonstrated to establish the required credibility.

Meanwhile, we need to keep our guard up including during the forthcoming Republic Day with the French President as the chief guest, with France being targeted by ISIS. Presently, if, when ISIS has captured seven districts of Afghanistan’s Nangarhar Province (west of Peshawar) and is spreading to other regions, they have been inducted by Pakistan. Same is the case of Al Qaeda re-establishing in Afghanistan. The Al Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) chief Mullah Asim Umar is a Pakistani national steeped in Pakistani madrasas. It would be naïve to expect US to put a few cruise missiles into Pakistan’s terror hatcheries as Russian President Vladimir Putin did in Syria. We need to fight these proxy wars on our own.

India to raise Pathankot attack issue with Pak today, wants action against Jaish-e-Mohammad within 72 hours

India to raise Pathankot attack issue with Pak today, wants action against Jaish-e-Mohammad within 72 hours

A day after seven soldiers were killed while 20 others were injured in an attack on the Pathankot airbase in Punjab, the Indian government is likely to raise the issue with the Pakistani government on Monday.

According to sources, India is seeking action against Jaish-e-Mohammad, the terror group which is expected to have orchestrated the attack, within 72 hours.

India wants Pakistan to act on the intelligence inputs and the evidence gathered against the terror group. India is likely to tell Pakistan in clear terms to raid these groups and wants the military court to act against them. The investigating officials have recovered a note that nails Jaish-e-Mohammad hand in the attack.

The future of the Foreign Secretary level talks will be dependant on the action taken by Pakistan  against Jaish. India is likely to inform Pakistan that terror and talks can't go further without action on these groups.

Meanwhile, joint combing operation by the armed forces, police and security personnel is underway at the Pathankot airbase. As per sources, the firing has been stopped. While authorities have confirmed that four terrorists have been killed, there is still no clarity on how many terrorists crossed over to the Indian side.

The air base has been cordoned off to prevent any possible escape. The NIA has taken over the probe into the terror attack.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also chaired a high-level meeting with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Foreign Secretary Jai Shankar and other top officials on Sunday night to take stock of the Pathankot attack.

Hunt for Gunmen Continues at Air Base Pathankot

Hunt for Gunmen Continues at Air Base Pathankot

A shootout between Indian security forces and armed gunmen stretched into its third day on Monday at the Pathankot air force base in Punjab, near India’s border with Pakistan. At least eleven Indian personnel and at least five terrorists have been killed in the fighting so far, officials said.

At least one or two terrorists were still holding out against the security forces on Monday, said Rajiv Mehrishi, India’s home secretary, in a televised news conference in New Delhi.

“We are sure that still there are at least two more terrorists as firing has come from two different places,” Mr. Mehrishi said.

The gunmen have also wounded eight air force personnel and 12 members of the National Security Guard, he said.

Mr. Mehrishi said that four suspected militants wearing Indian Army uniforms were said to have hijacked a vehicle belonging to a Punjab police officer in Gurdaspur District, near Pathankot, on Thursday night. Hours later, the police officer and other passengers were ejected from the car.

On Friday, the area was put on alert, Mr. Mehrishi said, and gunmen infiltrated the air force base and began firing at 3:30 a.m. on Saturday.

“The terrorists were located by means of aerial surveillance, which had been mounted by air force overnight, and they were immediately engaged,” Mr. Mehrishi said. He said that the attackers were prevented from gaining access to what was believed to be their intended target, the area of the base where aircraft and other military equipment are kept.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.

Among those killed was a lieutenant colonel of the National Security Guard, India’s elite commando force. The officer died in an explosion when he was checking the body of a terrorist, Mr. Mehrishi said. One air force commando was also killed, as well as five armed guards working for the Indian Air Force.

Attacks on security forces and military bases are unusual in Punjab. Such assaults are more common in the border state of Jammu and Kashmir to Punjab’s north, which has a long-running insurgency. India has long accused Pakistan of supporting militants in the region, a claim that Pakistan denies.

The attack on the base follows an impromptu visit by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Pakistan on Dec. 25 to visit Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the first such visit in almost 12 years. The meeting was seen as a step toward the resumption of a stalled dialogue between the countries.

In July, gunmen in Indian Army uniforms fired on a civilian bus and then took over a police station in Gurdaspur.

At the news conference on Sunday, Mr. Mehrishi said that Indian intelligence had received reports “of infiltration of terrorists from both Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Taiba from Pakistan,” and that 40 people suspected of being terrorists from those two groups had been killed from August to December.

AFB Pathankot Attack, 10 Indian Armed Forces Martyred

Even after the intelligence information about the possible attack on the Pathankot Air force base. The security personnel's failed to decrease the casualty numbers. The alarm raised when a District Police SP's car kidnapped in gun point, Which was later used for the attack. Even after twenty four hours, The Forces yet to identify the possible fifth attacker. this shows the Terrorists have full idea about the base's security and other operation methods.

So far Indian Armed forces lost ten soldiers in the attack, Where three terrorist killed by the Armed forces, fourth one is a suicide bomber, and the fifth one yet to be identified, Reports from the hot zone said the gun firing still going on.

The base guarded by DSC- Defense Security Corps. The DSC Provides security to Defense ministry sites, Such as Air force bases, Radar sites and key military installations. DSC is also a branch from Indian Army.

In this attack six of the DSC personnel lost their lives, Most of them in duty of the front gate. The terrorists also killed two IAF personnel who were on duty of base security. The Terrorists successfully penetrate the front gate and move towards the main building prior to enter the Airbase and Hangers.

The IAF also lost two of it's elite counter terrorism units known as IAF Garuds. they were later called in for additional deployment to secure the airbase. The Soldiers successfully stopped the terrorists before entering the Runway and Hangers

Analysts confirms this is a failed operation, Since the intelligence warned about possible attacks, with the inputs, IAF also beefed up security in the air force base. Even though the casualty from our side is too high. The government yet to provide clear information about the casualty figures.

Earlier the intelligence arrested a Ex service man who allegedly made connections with ISI and transferred key information about the air force bases close to Pakistan. This attack also looks like more ISI operatives may present in the armed forces. Who need to be kicked very quickly to safe guard our Installations.
