US looks Andaman for stronger Naval presence

US looks Andaman for stronger Naval presence

The US navy is currently looking for a stronger naval pretense in Indian Ocean with the help of Indian Navy, US looks for the Andaman naval base to carryout operations against Chinese increasing naval activity in Indian ocean as well as Bay of Bengal, where Indian navy short on legs to confront the Chinese violations in Indian waters.

US will support the Indians by providing real time imaginary of Chinese naval ship movements to Indian navy to confront. US may fly the modern MQ 4C BAMS along with the Indian navy P 8I for long endurance surveillance.

India almost close to sign the military logistics supply agreement with the Americans, which can support each others military operations, also include humanitarian and disaster relief, with the logistics agreements US and India both works together to solve issues related to both nations. The modified LSA agreements specially focus the Chinese aggression near Indian borders.

After breaking the decade old ideology of non alignment, The new government taken better steps to counter the Chinese influence in Indian sub continent, which include revamping all stalled construction near Chinese border. where China forced the Indian government to freeze all construction works close to borders.

This include a bridge construction near Ladakh, more number of ITBP outpost construction, allowing US search and rescue team to search for the mortal remains of B 24 bomber crashed near Arunachal, these all plans are forced to freeze due to the Chinese influence. Even more China irked the Indian navy by sending warships and nuclear submarines inside Indian waters in Andaman. where Indian navy short on legs to confront the Chinese ships.

The new government taken some good steps, revamping all constructions close to border, establishing naval bases and re innovating the abandoned air fields close to the Chinese border, even more teaming with the US to counter Chinese influence.

US navy admirals once expressed about the interest of using Andaman islands to operate the Navy's MQ 4C Triton maritime surveillance drone. The same drone which is offered to Indian navy and still  on consideration. with the use of this base, US Navy can monitor the movement of Chinese ships and submarines in Indian ocean and Bay of Bengal through Malacca strait.

Malacca strait  is the narrow way which can be used by the Chinese to enter Indian waters, When war erupts between China and India, China try to  breach Indian waters through that way. To counter the Chinese navy India almost beefed up the security of Andaman, by deploying modern warships missile boats and patrol ships.

Even during the Exercise Malabar both nations stimulated ASW warfare using submarines and P 8I aircraft in bay of Bengal to Malacca strait, which irked the Chinese way too much. Not only that India finding all measures to counter China, with the south China sea issue in far other side, issues near LAC. All these makes China think twice before doing any misadventures against any nations nearby.

More than twenty of landing strips near to the Chinese borders established by the IAF is NATO standard, which means all NATO military aircraft's can operate from that air strips. Where China tries to pin down Indian air force by engaging with only ground troops. where the territories gives upper edge to the Chinese forces.

US look of Andaman is for only one mission, to work with the Indian navy to stop or confront the Chinese ships sailing repeatedly over Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal, where Indian navy short on legs to confront them, Indian Navy alone tried the same, due to lower number of ships and equipment Chinese ships easily bypass Indian warnings.

For temporary base deployment US and India must sign another military contract, what exactly is allowing US forces in India. the contract named EDCA. However India doesn't seems to sign. So US may provide clear picture of Chinese naval activity's near IOR if Indian navy asks.

India deploys P 8 in Navy's forward airbase Andaman

India deploys P 8 in Navy's forward airbase Andaman

To effectively counter the Chinese threat in bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean, at first India temporarily deploys the long range P 8 I maritime patrol aircraft in Andaman. the temporary basis deployment is the first step to permanent deployment of other naval air assets in Andaman, After brief report from security concerns in Andaman strategic location, Navy plans to deploy fighter jets, maritime patrol aircraft's and more warships to defend the Andaman from Chinese threat.

Andaman's geographic location gives us an upper edge to counter Chinese movements close to Bay Bengal via Malacca straight, Andaman is located some 1300 km off from Indian main land, and some 1000 kilometer off from the Malacca straight. China uses their naval units to access occupied coco Island. Which was illegally captured from Myanmar, the actual distance from Andaman and Coco Island is just 70 kilometers

China placed a naval listening post in coco Island, to watch Indian Naval activities along Bay of Bengal, they also monitor Naval ship movements close to Andaman and Nicobar Island's. Most of the times China uses their submarines to access their occupied Island's. with that they can test Indian anti submarine capabilities too. They indeed send their modern destroyers too, Earlier many times Chinese tried to ram Indian warships close to Andaman.

After rising security threats from China, Indian Navy slowly fortifies the Naval emplacements in Andaman, By deploying more warships, coastal missile batteries, surface to air missiles and surveillance drones, The modernization plans almost drafted and it's in progress but slowly.

At first step, Earlier Indian Navy sends their MiG 29 K fighter aircraft to Andaman's Naval air base known as INS Baaz, The Runway has more than 3000 feet length which can capable to to operate bigger Military planes like C 17 and P 8. The MiG 29 along with some Navy's Dornier Do 228 also operated from the Andaman Islands.

Expanding the wings, as per modernization plans, Navy deployed it's P 8 I submarine hunter which was bought from USA. Those ASW Planes were bought to monitor Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal, hence all the P 8 I has been deployed close to Chennai, INS Arakonam. The P 8 I mostly used to monitor off the Chennai coast from Chinese intruders.

Now Navy checking it's capabilities by deploying it's long range maritime patrol aircraft in Andaman. Navy completed two week temporary deployment mission in Andaman. Indian Navy operates eight such planes, and almost close to finalize another four, The new batch of four could be deployed in Andaman Command. Adding those ASW planes in Andaman can monitor  each and every Chinese naval activities from Malacca Straight to Coco Island's.

Navy already issued a Coastal missile defense batteries, Mostly the Norwegian based NSM could be bought and more than two batteries could be deployed along the Andaman coastal, to effectively counter Chinese Warships. Indian Navy uses Russian Coastal batteries close to Mumbai, However they were older generation missiles. Navy plans to field the Brahmos batteries, due to huge costs, Navy thinks NSM is best option.

Recent reports confirmed, Navy already deployed Israeli made searcher unmanned surveillance vehicles in Andaman to monitor the Andaman coasts. It's believed Navy may deploys more number of such UAV's in coming years.

The submarine hunter of IN - Boeing P8I Neptune

The submarine hunter of IN - Boeing P8I Neptune

Named the Posedion these are truly the masters for objectives hiding underwater. Charged with the crucial mission of detecting and destroying any lurking threats in the water. These aircraft are the ultimate machines for Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) missions. Introduced to replace the aging   Boeing P3 Orion ASW aircraft, the P8I Posedion has scoured thousands of sq.kilometers in search of lurking Chinese and Russian submarines. Clubbed with the latest set of sensor suites and highly advanced sono-buoys this platform is a nightmare for submarines.

The P8I Neptune are now an integral part of all ASW missions of Indian navy, these aircraft are a shot in the arm for India's ASW capabilities. These ultimate ASW aircraft were procured by the Indian navy as a replacement to the aging Russian long range Tu 142 ASW platforms which were the main ASW platform. The Neptune's were procured under the FMS deal and Boeing was selected to supply India with 8 ASW aircraft and another 4 aircraft if India would use the 'follow-on' clause.

Boeing was awarded a US $2.1 billion order for equipping Indian navy with 8 ASW aircraft based on the 737 airframe. Signing the deal, India became the first international customer for the Boeing P8I. These aircraft were to be fitted with Indian sub-systems and were also to fitted with the latest ASW technology developed by Boeing. India's leading military equipment manufacturer BEL provided the Data link and IFF systems, DRDL and DRDO developed a MAD system. The P8I were to be equipped with light weight torpedo's, Harpoon anti-shipping missiles, mines and sono-buoys. These sono-buoys would be the key in detecting under water submarines.

P8I's are also equipped with the highly advanced  AN/APY 10 radar which can help in detecting long range surface and underwater threats. The radar can be used in  color weather, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) under which the aircraft is capable of detecting, imaging and classifying surface targets at long ranges, periscope detection, and navigational modes. The aircraft is capable of flying for more than  4 hours and all long detecting and monitoring waters for any activities.

Indian navy currently operates 7 P8I Neptunes which are based at INS Rajali. Indian navy received the seventh aircraft in July and is slated to receive the last and final aircraft by the end of this year. DAC headed by the defense minister has cleared the follow on order for another 4 aircraft and the delivery of these aircraft is slated to being with a year after the deals are concluded.

Indian navy currently operates the Do 228, IL 38 SD, Tu 142 MKE and 7 P8I for ASW missions. The IL38 and Tu 142 fleet have been in service for more than and are slated be replaced by a  Medium Range Maritime patrol aircraft, which will undoubtedly be the Boeing P8I aircraft. Indian navy currently has an requirement of more than 24 Long range MMA, the orders currently placed have fulfilled half the requirement of the navy. The navy is expected to issue a new tender shortly for another 12 ASW aircraft .

The Sikorsky S-70 declared winner for Multi Role Helicopter tender

Indian Navy chooses S 70B as Multi Role Helicopter

The Indian navy is receiving a much awaited boost for its rotary wing. The navy is expected to acquire 16 naval multi-role helicopters under a $1 billion deal. The naval rotary arm has been crippled with repeated crashes and the service availability of the Chetak and Sea king hitting a new time low. These Sea kings and Chetak were primarily used for ASW, SAR and reconnaissance missions.

After year’s field trials and evaluation the Navy has finally selected the Sikorsky S 70 B multi role helicopters to replace the aging Sea King helicopters. The S 70 B has superseded the European NH 90. The S 70 is based on the legendary Black Hawk air-frame. The S 70 can be operated from an array of naval platforms.

Armed with heavy torpedo’s and depth charges the S-70 B will be an integral part of the critical ASW (Anti Submarine Warfare) missions. The S 70B will carry Hellfire missiles and Harpoon missiles which will enable the copter to deal with any surface threats.

Even though the order is for only sixteen helicopters, it is expected to be increased in the near future. The Navy has plans to field these S-70 B’s onboard the new Kolkata destroyers and the P-17A frigates. IAC-I, INS Vikrant’s air wing is also to be finalized in the coming days, the Ka-31 and Sea wing are expected to form the network centric and AWACS platform. Indian navy is yet to officially announce the ASW aircraft for the carrier, with India having tested the S-70 B for various parameters it is no wonder these are the favorites.

The S-70 B for the Indian Navy will be carrying the FLASH (Folding Light Acoustic System for Helicopters) as against the export standard HELRAS (Helicopter Long-Range Active Sonar). The FLASH will enable S-70 detect submariners at longer ranges and greater depths. The Heptr will also be capable of dropping sonobouys which will help in detecting submarines and torpedo’s, these sonobouys can boost the situational analysis around a port or key off-shore installation.

The Navy currently operates the Russian Ka 27 helicopters for ASW missions. The load and range of the Ka-27 is extremely limited. With the Navy stressing for modernized fleet the induction of Ka-27 and Ka-31 would have been a setback for its mission. The S-70 B’s are marvels and have proved their might serving the US Navy over the years and still remain the mainstay ASW helicopter of the US Navy. The $1 billion deal will include assisting India with logistical support, maintenance, spare parts and training air crew. The aircraft has to be supplied with AGM hellfire missile, Mk 46 Torpedo's and 30mm cannon.

The Navy's primary requirement is 91 Naval MR Helicopters. With the home grown Dhruv evolving with every passing day, the navy has not been able to finalize the capability and scope of the Dhruv. The navy has forwarded a $ 3 billion deal to the DAC which may be cleared under the Make in India campaign. Sikorsky has inked a deal with the Indian giant Tata and is already involved in the manufacturing S 92 cabins which are being used in the US version

China audacious claims of imposing a naval blockade with just ten submarines

China audacious claims of imposing a naval blockade with just ten Submarines

A leading Taiwanese based newspaper has published a report in which the Chinese PLAN officials have made audacious claims of imposing a complete naval blockade on India with just ten submarines.  The very same paper had reported a PLAN source claiming a single PLAN nuclear attack submarine could sink India’s CBG headed by INS Vikramaditya.

A blockade can be a game changer in war, during the 1971 Bangladesh liberation war India had imposed a naval blockade on West Pakistan which proved a major breakthrough in the war. A blockade would simply mean blocking all the shipping lanes to a country which will eventually choke the country with it lacking any reinforcements. India has a very long coast which stretches almost 7500 km, a blockade to be enforced on India is extremely demanding. Do completely block the Indian shores will have to field more than ten of its modern nuclear submarines. Let alone Indian navy operates more than 80 major ships along the Western and Eastern sea boards.

A blockade is something that can be achieved on a specified port or area but blocking the whole coast is something next to impossible. Indian navy operates harbours along the sea boards.  Chinese dreams of Indian naval ships always in ports making it easy to blocked is something far from reality.

China at the same time is not having enough number of nuclear attack submarines unlike the Americans and Russians. China is believed to be operating around five nuclear attack submarines, which can be instrumental in putting a blockade on the Vietnam or Taiwan Navy.

unlike Nuclear attack Boats, the Diesel electrics has many limits, like diesel shortage, oxygen shortage which forces the Sub should surface once in some 500km Travels. also it's endurance limit the Boat by some thousand Kilometers. makes them only good for securing and patrolling Chinese Economic zone only. Not for operating beyond some 1000 kilometers. Even Chinese too knows that.

the Nuclear attack boats can sail faster upto thirty knots in submerged mode, can travel some 5000 kilometers without surfacing, travel deep in the water, lets say some 400meters or 1200 feet, allows them to come nearby Indian Shores, But India have less submarines, which can even not worth of securing our Economic zones. But currently India have Projects going on to beef up the Maritime Patrol and combat duties using underwater platforms.

India have a Nuclear Attack Submarine Akula Leased from Russia, which is More modern than the existing Chinese Nuclear attack submarine, more Silent when Running deep under water compared to other Chinese SSN. China Claimed it's modern Type 093 SSN is less sound than the Russian Akula class, and American Los Angeles Class Attack Submarine, But US Navy claimed it is not a Quite submarine but makes more noise than the First Generation Russian Attack submarine which was entered in 1980's. Also the Chinese claimed the New Type 093 can dive upto the depth of 400meters, but no confirmations on this, where newest Russian Submarines can dive upto  some 500 meters.

The Chinese have only two active Type 093 class Submarines, where three more will be inducted soon, but they have some three Type 091 Han Class Attack submarines which was entered service in early 1990's. The Indian Navy successfully snooped the Han class submarine many times outside Indian Shores, also watches it;'s movement, Earlier Navy alerted the Indian Government even before the Han Class Submarine docked in the Sri Lankan Port.

Also earlier once in 2009 near Yemeni coast a Indian Kilo class Submarines successfully snooped the Han Class SSN who is in anti piracy mission, but Two other Chinese Destroyers nearby the area found the Indian Sub, which forced the Indian Submarine to Surface, but no other incidents happens, Chinese warned the Submarine to Surface and readying their ASW Helicopters to drop Torpedo's to destroy the Unknown Submarine, the Chinese Identified it's a Indian Boat only after it was surfaced.

So almost India have each and every available informations to trace the Chinese Submarines, India lacks in Submarines but not in anti submarine utility's. where china lacks so. India operates less to Long Range ASW aircrafts to, finest Anti Submarine Ships like Kamorta, where Navy plans to build eight new Komarta Class ASW ships, where one in Operational other three in Sea Trails.

The Indian Navy's ASW Air asserts or the second biggest in the world, after America Indian operates good number of asw aircrafts, all of them can fire Torpedos' and drop sonoubouys to detect submarines deep in the water, Platforms like P 8 and Tu 142 MKE can travel upto some 6000 kilometers and do missions. even the P8 can launch four Harpoon Anti Shipping Missiles too, and both of them can launch Torpedo's and Depth Charges.

The IL 38 SD and Do 228 also act as a Medium to short range ASW. both can able to drop Torpedo's and Depth Charges. makes very tough to enemy Sub merged asserts who tries enter Indian waters.

The China has only one option, It can blockade the Indian Naval bases, for that they need to be submerged more than 500 meters, never ever sub surface to breath, It can give easy chances to Indian ASW asserts to Kill you. and comes to Eastern Naval Command and Kill some Tug Boats. It's clear China would not find any other Ships in the Base, all other ships maybe in Patrol.

and within a moments a large column of Indian ASW planes comes for Hunt missions, and they even won't warn you, but they drop all available Torpedo's and Depth Charges against the Chinese SSN's. that's why it's clear China won't like to do some Suicidal mission like this

The Submarine Killer Corvette's

The Submarine Killer Corvette's

GRSE (Garden Reach Ship Engineering), Calcutta one of the leading shipyards of the country is all set to launch the last vessel being built under the P-28 program. The vessel will be cherished as Kavaratti.

The need for specialized ASW platforms

Chinese have been inducting submarines to their fleet at an alarming rate. Adding attack submarines alone cannot address this, adding specialized vessels and aircraft can greatly subdue the threats posed by submarines along our coastline. Corvettes are one of the smallest warships, these vessels are fitted with missiles and torpedoes. The vessels can also accommodate anti-submarine helicopters thereby forming a credible force in anti-submarine warfare. Submarines operating in shallow waters close to the shores are matter of grave concern, with various countries building submarines that have the lowest acoustic levels, and it is crucial that India ramps up its anti-submarine warfare capabilities.

Under the P28 program, Indian navy has drawn up elaborate plans to induct about four corvettes, which will serve as dedicated ASW platforms. Stressing for a more flexed ASW capability, navy made away with the P28A program which has promised them with eight more corvettes. The corvettes being designed under the P28 program have been designated as the Kamorta corvettes which will displace around 3400 tonnes, these vessels can even be designated as miniature frigates owing to the size.

The program was announced in 2003 and materialized in 2005, after GRSE was awarded the program for delivering four corvettes to the navy. The program was estimated at around $444 million and the program was designated as an indigenous program which mandated that the vessel had to be built in an Indian shipyard with most of the technologies going on board the vessel had to be roped in from Indian companies. GRSE drew up MoU’s with various Indian companies to equip the vessels with state-of-the art technologies.

The vessels are powered by four diesel engines which are supplied by Piestel, which together produce about 5096 HP of power and guarantee a maximum speed of up to 32 Kn. DCNS supplied raft mounted gearbox which helped to greatly subdue the vibrations of the engines. High quality steel was provided by SAIL, Wartsila provided low-vibration diesel alternators to power the electronics on-board the vessel. The vessel would also incorporate stealth features, an X-shaped hull was incorporated and the ship was developed with carbon fibre reinforced plastic which reduced the weight of the ship substantially. These features greatly reduced the acoustic signature and the noise levels of the vessel.

Sensors and Processing systems

The primary radar of the vessel is the DRDO developed Central Acquisition Radar or the CAR-3D, the Rohini was a dedicated radar for Naval platforms. Operating under S-band, the radar employs planar array antenna and provides simultaneous multi-beam coverage. The radar can track up to 150 targets simultaneously, and has a maximum operational range of 180 km. The vessel also houses the IAI developed, EL/M STGR (Search, Track and Gunnery Radar) fire control radar. The radar is all weather radar operating in X and Ka band, the radar is equipped with state of the art ECCM measures. The radar can acquire a missile at 15 km and an aircraft at around 30 km. BEL has significantly helped the ship’s designing and has integrated its Shikari, RAWL02, Sanket MKIII systems helping to increase the readiness of the ship.
Detection systems

Vessels of Kamorta class are mainly developed for ASW hence the ship’s technologies are mainly developed for the same purpose, the vessel comes with state-of-the art Anti submarine weapons and Detection systems, these systems can acquire, track, neutralize or destroy any threats.

The P-28’s, main detection system is the hull mounted SONAR system which was supplied by BEL. Modern warships are usually equipped with HUMSA. These systems are tasked with detecting and calculating, the enemy ship and submarine position. The SONAR also acts as the eye of the ship, by directing the ship along its intended path and averting any mishaps.

The vessel will also feature Towed array sonar (TAS), a crucial system to detect any tow ships but yet many Indian vessels lack this crucial system. As the name suggests, these sonar systems are towed by the ship meaning they’ll be attached to the rear of the ship. The system can be integrated with other ships through secured channels, hence promising alertness across the waters. The TAS is extremely hard to be detected unlike the hull mounted SONAR systems, effectively enhancing the ships stealth capability. TAS is being developed by DRDO and NSTL, the DRDO produced TAS had failed to impress the navy and was procured from abroad.

Defensive suites

The vessel is equipped with a defensive suite that can handle threats posed by any air, surface or submerged targets. To tackle any air-borne threats the ship is fitted with thirty two VLS cells which can launch Barak-1missiles. The Barak-1 can even neutralize sea skimming cruise missiles. The Israeli developed, Barak-1 is a battle proven point defense missile system which enjoys a range of about 12 kilometers.

The ship is also equipped with two AK 630 CIWS (Close-in-weapon system) these systems are crucial to pick up target which the SAM systems may miss owing to the size of the inbound threats. These CIWS have an approximate operational range of up to three kilometers. The vessel is also fitted with Chaff and flare systems, the ECM (Electronic Counter Measure) system in the ship is believed to be one of the best in service and can effectively guard the location of the ship by feeding false inputs to the enemy systems.

To tackle any inbound torpedoes fired by an enemy ship or submarine the vessel is fitted out with an indigenously developed torpedo decoy system, which launches torpedoes to counter any threats by engaging the incoming threat.

Offensive weapon system

Being a mainstay vessel for conducting ASW operations, the vessel is equipped with six 533 mm torpedo tubes. The 533mm torpedo's are battle proven machinery which can penetrate even hardened hulls. To tackle the evasive moves of the submarine the vessel uses its depth charges which will force any underwater threat to surface.

The ship comes with two RBU 6000 multi-caliber rocket launcher which can launch 213 mm rocket, these rockets can intercept and destroy any incoming torpedo's and at times can also be used against submarines, the recently inducted 90R rockets can hit targets submerged in deep waters.

The primary offensive system of the vessel is the Oto Melera 76 mm main gun which can neutralize targets as far as twelve kilometers. The ship can also house an ASW helicopter, the Indian navy had chosen the American S 70 B but the plans to procure these helicopters has stalled owing to the scandals that has tagged the procurement process. The ship is NBC capable, meaning the ship can withstand any Nuclear, Chemical and Biological attacks.

The first ship of the class, Kamorta was commissioned to the navy by Arun Jaitley , then MoD and currently operates under the Eastern Naval Command(ENC) and is home-ported at Visakhapatnam. The second vessel of the class, Kadmatt has entered its final test phase and is to be shortly commissioned to the navy. The third vessel under the program has reached final work phase and is to be soon launched for trials.

Project 15 Bravo Vishakpatnam Destroyer

Project 15 Bravo Visakhapatnam Destroyer

The Hull of P 15 B INS Vishakapatinam Destroyer

Apart from the US Navy the Japenese become the second Biggest Navy, but the Chinese Sub merged platforms can give upper edge to the JMSDF, but no one can give good credits to Chinese Sub merged platforms, so the Japanese remains second, to fight against Chinese and Dominate the Indian Ocean Indian Navy need more powerful Destroyers, after the Delhi class and Rajput Class, Government plans to build more advanced Network centric Stealth guided Destroyers, hence the P 15 A the Kolkatha class ships born, by this project Navy would receive one Destroyer in each two years, after some delays the Navy getting those destroyers  now,

The Indian Navy already receive first of the Kolkatha Class last year and get inducted and the second Ship Kochi is Expected to inducted in the Navy this year, and the final of P15 A the Chennai would be inducted in the coming Year,

After that Indian Navy has another series more advanced Destroyers compared to the P15 Alpha, The P15 Bravo named Visakhapatnam class and it would be commissioned today, and can finish all trails and be deployed by 2018.

In P15 B there were four ships planned each would be inducted into the navy with two years cap, Starts 2018 and end by 2024, compared to three ships in P 15.

The P 15B Displacement mentioned at 7,300 tons lesser than 200 tons by P 15A, due to the more composite materials sleek design and Less Helicopter Facility, P15 A planned to carry two Helicopters but the P15 B will carry a Single SH 70 ASW, search and Rescue Multi role Helicopter.

The Ships again to carry the More powerful Aegis alternate the Israeli MF STAR Fire Control Radar, which can guide the Ships Offensive and Defensive weapons and gives Target information's, the same MF STAR also the Main FCR in the P 15 A.

The P 15 B comes with 32 VLS launch of Barak 8 and 16 VLS Launcher of Brahmos, as per Reports, but we can expect more numbers, that means additional 32 VLS Barak and 16 VLS Brahmos or the Nirbhay, and more Number for Maitri QR SAM expected to be 32 systems. also it have to be fitted with four AK 630 or SAM cum CIWS like Phalnx system, the information's not yet released.

Also the Ship's main gun not yet to be Choose but the Finmccanica OTO Bereda  Naval Gun with Guided Shells may be win the deal, also no information about the RBU 6000 ASW launchers, some roumers also says the Ship can accommodate some Israeli Spike NLOS system for intercepting fast Attack Crafts and Speed Boats, a New method where most western countries are fitting the systems in their Ships.

The Ship's Torpedo Launching capability is also unknown, but It's sure two or four Torpedo Launching Tubes would be Placed in the Ships, the same P15 A , Delhi class all equipped to launch four 533mm Torpedo's from the Deck.

The Ships SONAR systems also not described which or what system would be selected the Indigenous Bow Mounted or Navy can import a foreign Bow Mounted SONAR. and no information about the crucial Towed Array SONAR, most of the Indian warships lacks this technology, even the P15 A yet to be receive the Towed Array SONAR. but as per SP's Article the TAS in P15 B comes without any delays, even they don't have the credible sources to prove it,

The Entire Ship built with advanced Network Centric capabilities to fight in the Modern Battle field and can be work with more modern powerful Aircraft carriers, Nuclear Attack submarines and long range ASW planes like the P 8I.

The sources also mentioned that the ship can sustain any kind of Nuclear Biological and Chemical Attacks, even most of the Ships designed to survive such attacks, but noting to say about this, but can these ships can survive when a Large scale EMP attack hit the Ships. Questions Remains.

Also some sources said that Navy gets Help from Thales and IAI about the CMS (Combat Management Systems) Network centric Attack and co ordination also setting up the Radars to work even affected by the EMP.

With long Questions yet to be answered which will be out in the Media's in coming Days.
